...

After giving her the gift, Noah excused himself and told her that he will visit her again tomorrow.

Noah noticed the look in her eyes and the acts teamed around him or anybody and he couldn't blame her. The girl had been prisoned and tortured the day she arrived. She even still doesn't know that Ethan man killed her family. He can only imagine how difficult things will be once she finds out.

On the west side of the mansion, Inside Ethan's study room, Issac and Ethan watched the scene unfold. In front of them, Issac turned to look at his brother who had a look of loathsomeness on his face as he continued to watch the warming heart scene in front of him.

Issac chuckled inwardly, It looks like things are going to be interesting in the future and he couldn't wait to witness it, He wondered if karma has finally decided to teach his brother a lesson, He only hoped that it won't be a harsh lesson that will bring him to his knees.

"That girl must leave." Ethan said as he turned around walking towards his desk and sat on the chair.

"Why? She hadn't done anything and it isn't best to keep your enemy close. You know that her uncle is looking for her after what happened and you know what will happen if she finds out about him." Issac stated the facts and watched as his brother became irritated by the fact that Patel will live here.

"Keep a close eye on her, I'm not believing that she is innocent as she appears to be. She will make a mistake and when she does that, It will be my chance to end her." Ethan spoke as he stared at his late wife's picture frame.

Shaking his head hopelessly, Issac left the study room.

...

Inside Patel's room, She sat on the bed staring at the phone that Noah gifted her. She picked it up and tried to call the landline of their manners but the call didn't go through. She tried again and it was the same result.

Strangely, The maid's always answered their landline phone. Could something happen after she left and what about her mother? What if her father hurt her for helping her to escape.

Thinking about all of this, Patel's mind became uneasy. She wished she could just go and check on them, But Jacob told her that he will come back soon and take her with him, But for an unknown reason, She had a feeling that something happened.

Patel let out a long sigh as she stared at the number on the phone screen. She wished that she had memorized Jacob's number. She could have called him and made sure that he and her mother were safe.
