Chapter 21: Siblings do fight... Sometimes

Jungkook stared at the door. Now he had done it. He lost his temper with his sister. The only family that cared about his well-being and his business. He would have to apologize and take her to this audition on Saturday, which would free her from their parents' clutches.

"You will thank me one day, sis," Jungkook whispered and stood upright against his desk. That was one hell of a knock if only she could use the fierceness within her towards their parents. She would not have any problems again.

Jungkook was under a lot of stress, which he could not tell Yuna about. He wished that he could tell her that someone has been stealing from the business but she would only worry for him.

Yuna walked out of the office. She was in a daze, she did not even hear Namjoon calling her name. "Yuna? Yuna?"

She kept walking to the restaurant's front door but was stopped when Namjoon grabbed a hold of her shoulder and turned her around so that she faced him. "Yuna what is the matter?"

She blinked once and a frown played on her forehead as her eyes focused on him. "Sorry?"

"What is the matter?" Namjoon asked again and adjusted his grip on her shoulder.

Yuna shook her head. "I need to be alone for a few minutes."

She shrugged him off and turned back to the exit. Namjoon stood there blinking and turned to the office door. He approached the door and knocked softly. There was no answer. His hand reached for the doorknob, suddenly the door opened. "Namjoon, can I help you?"

"I am sorry to bother you Jungkook but I just saw Yuna and she looked as if she was kind of-" He saw the look on Jungkook's face. It was distraught. "Did you two fight?"

Jungkook stood away from the door and indicated that Namjoon should enter. He closed the door and a sigh escaped his lips. "You could say that we did. I said some things that I should not have and now..."

"Was it really that bad?" Namjoon asked while he crossed his arms.

"It was... It just slipped out before I could stop myself. She is my sister and she means everything to me."

Yuna stepped into the sunlight and inhaled. She closed her eyes as the sun-kissed her face, she should not have reacted the way she did but... "Jungkook is right," she muttered softly.

She always depended on him, she would always ask him to save her from her personal situations but now... He wanted her to be stronger like the way she handled customers.

It is different to deal with strangers than dealing with people you love. A smile played on her face. It was like Jungkook said, he was not going to be there to help her. It was her time to apologise to Jungkook and make him tell her what was happening.

That was the way they always ended their fights. They walk away from each other and after a few minutes of cooling down, they both would like to apologise to the other. Since she could remember that was the way it always has been.

With new hope found in her heart, she turned back to the restaurant door and went back inside. Namjoon was nowhere to be seen and Jungkook's office door was still closed. She found it strange that the girl did not pitch for her interview. She was about to close the front door when a voice spoke. "Hi, I am here for an interview."

Yuna turned around and smiled. "Perfect timing, I was just about to enter the office."

"I am kinda early," The girl replied. She was wearing fashionably slashed jeans with a black t-shirt. Her hair was in a short pixie cut.

Yuna smiled and turned back to the door, opening it without knocking and stopped dead in her tracks when she heard...

"How can I tell Yuna that the Meaty Way is almost bankrupt?" Jungkook said desperately to Namjoon.

Namjoon's turned his gaze past Jungkook and his eyes widened slightly when they were met with Yuna's. Jungkook saw the look on Namjoon's face, it was of pure shock and he slowly turned around.

"I am not going to work here if this place is closing down," the pixie girl said behind Yuna. She turned around and left the restaurant.

"Una?" Jungkook said softly.

Yuna's hand was still clutching the door and she blinked. "Why did you not tell me sooner?"

Namjoon cleared his throat. "This is my cue to leave."

Jungkook watched him walk past Yuna. He looked back and gave Jungkook an encouraging smile. Yuna let go of the door and stood before Jungkook. "Kookie, why?"

"I did not want you to worry about me," he replied softly.

"I am your sister, Kookie. I always worry about you."

"Una..." Jungkook started. "This is my dream that I have to protect, I did not want to drag you into my mess. I wanted you to look up at me so that I can be your inspiration."

Tears formed in Yuna's eyes. Jungkook was still thinking about her and the dreams that she walked out of. The dreams that he still wanted her to follow. "You could have told me so that I could help you."

Jungkook's adam's apple bobbed slightly. He knew that she had the best intentions but he told her that this was his fight and he had to make or break it on his own. He never wanted to keep something like this from her. It was the only way so that she could concentrate on her dreams.

"Una," Jungkook said and took her hand, "I am sorry that I didn't tell you about this. I just wanted you to realise your own dreams and not bring you down with mine."

Yuna squeezed his hand. She wanted to tell the whole world... No, she wanted to scream from the rooftops. Her big brother was the best and no one would be able to match him. He always thought about others before he even thought about himself.

"Kookie, I have told you a hundred times that I will always stick with you," She said and smiled. "We are brother and sister always."

Jungkook knew that she was right. When they were still living with their parents and the days seemed dark. They always had each other no matter what. Even if he had to give up a few friends to stick with his sister...

He never told her that she had saved him from his friends. He never told her that most of them turned to a street gang and went to jail. He was the only boy in the neighbourhood that did not join the gang and it was all thanks to her.

Jungkook let go of her hand. He pointed at the chair. "I am going to tell you everything."

Yuna walked and sat down on the chair. "That is all I want, Kookie. I do not want you to keep things from me."

Jungkook went and sat down behind his desk. He intertwined his fingers and laid his head forward onto them. He blinked once and told Yuna everything that happened since the opening of his restaurant, three years ago.
