I cringed because he just demonstrated me another shade of him.

It gave me goosebump as he laid on his mattress, directing to his large king-size bed that had space for four people.

I gritted my jaw and aimed to leave when he said, "I never said you can leave!" 

I halted while my hand was still on the door handle. He was not joking at all.

At that moment, I felt the pain that was lashing me from backward and frontward.

His hand wrapped over my belly, and his wings embraced my body.

"What..."

"Hush, I said, you can come to my bed." 

I was scared of him for a moment. He drew his wings back and took hold of my hand.

Bingo! I was up from the early morning, ducking my head from the window, I saw that the sheriff came out of his house. Holding his stick, he carefully glanced around. During the day that everything was fine they would go out, even I heard the cows' mows and geese crooning.

The noises that were saying I survived to live another day. Hopefully, it could be called constancy. I jumped down the bed. I was already prepared for my journey, I couldn't seat back and let Victor hunt me. If they were going to my world therefore why not using the chance and get back home.

I opened the door, aiming to surge out when I drew back in shock before I hit Elisa, she walked in, pushing me away from the door frame.

"What the heck is wrong with you?"

Grabbing either side of my arms, she peered into my eyes.
