I halted while my hand was still on the door handle. He was not joking at all.

At that moment, I felt the pain that was lashing me from backward and frontward.

His hand wrapped over my belly, and his wings embraced my body.

"What..."

"Hush, I said, you can come to my bed." 

I was scared of him for a moment. He drew his wings back and took hold of my hand.

Letting the girl be, I aimed to get back to others who I could hear the clank of swords and the magic that was lashing out through those crooked sticks.

"We have started a fractious day."

I felt the fingers that clawed my arms. Those gazes were pleading with me that I should not leave her, but inwardly I was reacting against darkness.

"Let me go, just scream when you need me." She nodded and released my arms.

Flying down, I saw one of the drugged dogs that were as if Zaar wraith. The bastard, Victor how could he drug them? It was on a branch above the sheriff who was defending himself by fire. It bounced to snap the magician man from behind.

I wrapped my lash over it, before those fangs could plunge into his flesh, hitting it down, I made small shuriken blades that commander Chen suggested me to use when I was under siege. They flattered in the air hitting them.
