I gritted my jaw and aimed to leave when he said, "I never said you can leave!" 

I halted while my hand was still on the door handle. He was not joking at all.

At that moment, I felt the pain that was lashing me from backward and frontward.

His hand wrapped over my belly, and his wings embraced my body.

"What..."

"Hush, I said, you can come to my bed." 

I was scared of him for a moment. He drew his wings back and took hold of my hand.

Edward was thinking about the same answer. As everyone entered, he gazed at Usher.

"I remember you very well, Usher, you were working for King Arian as a spy, we all want to see what you are hiding from us! Your daughter is alive and we want to know what exactly she was." Edward blurted out of a sudden.

Karmalin frowned! So the king knew his daughter was alive but why did he keep being mute?

Usher raised an eyebrow, "my words will be with me to the grave." He persisted.
