It was a bright warm summer day, at least in the rest of the kingdom. Here at the capital, it's cold as ever. The snow is still blazing on as the wind still keeps howling. But all the people here are warm and cosy inside the barrier of the castle. There were two other children besides (k trio is kind of lame so now let's change it up to just our trio) our trio. It was a 12-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy. They were the new heir to the throne to their respective kingdoms. Our trio never had any reason to socialize with them and vice-versa but the main reason for them to not befriend each other was that they never ran into each other in that huge wonderland (actually the main reason is that the writer, I, thought it was enough socialising for our trio, they are supposed to be introverts).
their day started with Keiki waking up really early in the morning, it wasn't really comprehensible whether it was morning or night as the outside was foggy as ever but the clock announced it was time to wake up. Even though it was vacation, Keiki woke up really really early.
The second person to wake up was Katsuke. He found the weather wonderful and decided to get ready and spend a few moments in the balcony. The sky seemed calm or sorrowful perhaps it was just trying to be calm while being tormented inside. Suddenly it started raining, the rain was kind of weird as it would stop at restart every now and then. And then suddenly it started snowing.
"Seriously sky!!! make up your mind, do you wannabe miserable a sorrowful or cry and let it out or just..." Asked Tsuki in a sarcastic frustration. Tsuki was also at the balcony. After a while, she wanted to meet up with katsuke and Keiki when she heard a knocking on the door. She proceeded to open it just to encounter the excited face of Keiki and the usual face of Katsuke.
"Tsuki, come one with me. I found something interesting."Keiki grabbed Tsuki as she proceeded to take her to this mystery place that fascinated her soo much. Aaaand of course, its Library, the place with all the knowledge in the world.
"You brought me all the way to this library? Keiki! we can read all we want in our library, it's even bigger than this one. Let's go doo..." Tsuki stopped midsentence at the sight of a closed door. It wasn't guarded at all, at least that's what they thought but there were traces of spirit magic, perhaps the spell wore off for some reason. Katsuke opened the door to reveal a dark and dusty room that had not been taken care of for ages.
"The room must be forbidden, should we go in? We are in a foreign land... they might keep secrets in there" asked Tsuki to overthink before they made a big mistake. They could be punished for this.
"I think it will be fine. We can pretend we did not know it was forbidden. What I observed from yesterday, none of the nobles lives in the castle and the queen is nowhere to be seen. The security of this place is very low, the barrier is the only thing worth calling protection. There were very less soldiers and servants. And I can use my light magic to observe the whole thing to the tiniest detail, so we can avoid making taces!!! it will be fine" katsuke assured them.
"plus I can reverse time with my song magic, I can literally do everything!!!" added Keiki.
They went in as they closed the door behind them. It was pitch black for a moment, then Katsuke lightened up the place (or enlightened it). There were so many things to read and discover. Secret spells, confidential knowledge and dark histories of the land. Instead of reading it one by one, Keiki had an idea.
"Superkhlee do seemo'le doonte...rise in my command" with this, the books and scrolls and papers started levitating. All the dust fell off of the book and onto them.
*Cough* *cough* 'Why did you do that for?'
"oh sorry let me try again"
"Superkhlee do seemo'le doonte...rise in my command"keiki sang again, this time with all the dust on the ground and then she sang a different lyrics.
"Tempus'lo de'ce nola fi mole... turn the sands of time." The books went back to their original positions with all the dust on top of them.
"When did you learn the ancient language of the light land?" Asked Katsuke.
"Oh something I picked up a few months ago (yes Keiki is highly intelligent)"
"But why did you rise the books and then dropped them again?"
"That was for Katsuke to read everything that was on those dusty old paper"
"Woah that's smart"
"And now allow me to show you the things that are mentionable...
(thank you for reading, bye bye!!!)
