Dexter and myself was heading home from meeting with his Uncle and we found out that the Mob Squad he wants me on does not have an opening, but it will come sooner than later, I know I am ready but that still does not help me and my kids out. I also hate how I did them, but Derrick adjusted but Malik and Maven will be a different struggle and I am going to have to work on making them normal kids.

Dexter: Baby what is wrong.

Me: Nothing, I am thinking about Maven and Malik

Dexter: Those boys were loyal to you; they had your best interest in mind.

Me: I know but what can I do? I cannot just tell them they are back on with my baby.

Dexter: I know but we need to do something to help them.

We made it back to the house and I walked into my office and Dexter started cooking dinner for me and the boys, I began thinking about everything and If you would have told me that 2 yrs. ago my wife was going to leave me, I would have laughed in your face. Unfortunately, that is what happened she walked away from me and my boys for the next nigga flashing money in her face. Nevertheless, Alexis, I forgive you but I will not forget what you did at all; her new boy-toy name is Patrick Anderson: he may make more money than me but can never or will never be me.

As I am sitting in my office, I thought about me current situation and it a bad one too. I am currently unemployed and looking for a new one since Alexis left me with everything and told me to struggle with finding a job because no one would hire me because of my past. I will tell you about that part later right now I see this fine person who is stealing my soul right now. That is him my favorite person in the world right now, Dexter Parks Jr., for the past 2 yrs. since Alexis left and he has been in my corner since that time.

Dexter walks over to where I was and sits down with me and we had a conversation about what I am going to do for work, and I see his wheels turning and I know what he is going to do but I just want to talk to my baby and get some knowledge from him.

Me: Baby, what are you thinking about?

Dexter: Well, you could work for my Dad, Dexter Parks Sr., but before I call him are you sure you want to get in his line of work its more dangerous.

Me: Does it pay good?

Dexter: Trust me the guys that work for my Dad get paid handsomely.

Me: Well, I will take anything right now

Dexter: I did not know it was this bad, that settles it I am calling my Dad; he will know what to do for you.

Dexter then gets up and makes the call to his uncle. He walks back over and smiles then tells me to be ready in the morning cause his uncle wanted to meet me right away to make a lot of money. I picked Dexter up in a tight embrace and we kiss so passionately that we both felt fireworks then I asked Dexter one question that changed the way we saw each other.

Me: Dex, we have been on this journey for the past 2 yrs. and I want to know if you want to spend the rest of your life with me

Dexter: Yes, a thousand times yes.

The next morning could not come any faster, Maven was working with James and Derrick and Malik went to an Anime convention so I could leave without being asked a lot of questions. I was sitting at the dining room table when Dexter came to join me and give me some pointers about his Dad. From what he tells me this Dad is more dangerous, but he makes a lot of money and that is what I need right now.

Dexter: Good morning, love wyd

Me: Nothing much nervous

Dexter: I know baby but think of it like this you get a crew and more money too and I am not going anywhere.

Dexter: His businesses tie into the community and you better be ready to pull community service cause that what he needs all his men to do.

Me: Got it

Dexter: Also, you may run your own team and that would be compelling cause you would get first cut on the money.

Me: Sounds good I like what I hear

Dexter: Well last thing is that he is gay and takes all matters serious the team you are going to be on is his radical team I like those guys I hope that you get them.

Me: I must remember that but let us get out of here, so we do not be late

We got in the car and started heading towards his location and we found that his uncle was that far from where we lived, and we made it in less time. When we arrived at a nice-looking restaurant and I was hungry, and I still wanted to make a good impression, but my stomach was touching my ass and I needed to eat something and fast. I placed a food order for me and Dexter when I saw the door open to a man with four bodyguards with him so this must be his Dad, Dexter Parks Sr.

Dex: Dad, over here.

Dexter Sr.: Son, how are you doing?

Dex: Good I missed you at the pride celebration earlier this year.

Dexter Sr.: I planned it with the City Council, and I was tired after that...This must be Jimmy, the man I heard so much about.

Me: How are you doing, Mr. Parks?

Dexter Sr.: Please, call me, Dexter, or Sr., I am not all for formalities unless you piss me off.

Me: I will remember that

Dexter Sr.: So, what makes you want to join my team?

Me: From what Dex tells me that you help in the community and that is not a problem with me

Dexter Sr.: Hmm, that is good but what are you other qualities because I am looking for a leader of a new team that I am putting together ant I need a strong leader for these guys.

Dex: Dad, if all your teams are full that means you are looking for the A-Squad leader, then right?

Dexter Sr.: Actually, Son I have taken the best guys from each of my team to create him one and if he says he as good as he is then he should be able to guide these guys to be successful, can you do that?

Me: Yes, sir I can, and I will not have a problem managing things

Dexter Sr.: Great I will assemble the guys together do you have somewhere secluded we can meet up and conduct business?

Me: Yes, I have a warehouse on the edge of town, we can go there

Dexter Sr.: Perfect well then you have the job and I expect wonderful things from you.

Just like that Dexter pays for the food, walks out the restaurant and I have a job. Me and Dex sat and continued eating. I thought to myself that he was a big menacing man, but he has a lot of stroke here in Dallas, when I received a call from an unknown number.

Me: Hello?

Unknown Person: I forgot to tell you that I will be at the warehouse tomorrow and you can meet your new team and I have some gifts to give. How many kids you have?

Me: I have two boys, Dexter

Dexter Sr.: Perfect, ages?

Me: eighteen

Dexter Sr.: Good I will have them something tomorrow.

Just like that again he has gone in thin air. I turn my attention back to Dex who was smiling at me. I cannot believe he has held me down this far and I know he will keep doing it.

Dex: Well, how do you feel?

Me: Shocked really

Dex: Babe, I hope this helped you out to know that I got you back.

Me: Baby I have always known that. Nothing you did was different, and I respect that about you.

Dex: Well, what do you want to do until the kids come back home?

Me: I need to see my mom and dad, to tell them the good news

Dex: Babe, you mean the gravesite, right?

Me: Yes, I must let them know

Dex: Well, let us go then.

We drove to the gravesite and if I tell you I was getting nervous as I approached my parents and Dexter was right there with me to help me out.

Me: Well mom and dad I am here, I know, I know it has been a while, but I brought someone that I want you to meet his name is Dexter Parks Jr. and I am going to marry him soon.

Dex: Hello, it is genuinely nice to meet you.

Me: He helped me get a job and I am making more money for me and the kids, which I know you were worried about that, but those boys are raising me though.

Dex: I just wanted to say that Jimmy is working hard to make money for the boys, and they are keeping up with their grades and they are close to graduating this year.

After talking with my mom and dad we went to eat dinner at a nice restaurant to enjoy each other time and then we headed home, and the boys were their Derrick and Mason was watching a movie together; Maven and James were on Wattpad reading books. Dex went to go take a shower with the new soap I just brought him, and I talked to the boys and told them the good news.

Me: Derrick, Maven, James, and Malik I got some good news to tell you all?

Derrick: You found your hairline?

Me: Really?

Maven: Your finally letting James give you a makeover?

Me: What's wrong with the way I dress and look?

James: A lot, but you finally learned how to cook?

Me: Hey I can cook?

Malik: Boiling water does not count, but let me see you finally getting some fresh shoes?

Me: Y'all fuckers, you know what, I got a new job you assholes!!!

Maven: That's good dad

James: Awe, and I was all in for the makeover too.

Dex: Boys, which one of you all has been in my kitchen?

Me: Don't all you all get quite at once, Dex asked you all a question

Maven: I was me Dex, I thought I cleaned it up

Dex: Boy if you do not get your ass in there.

Just then Dex's Jamaican accent revealed itself in his native tongue that had everybody scared to even talk. Maven quickly got up and cleaned the kitchen while Malik, Derrick and James kept a close eye on Dex before he went off on them.

Me: Baby, calm down and let us go up to the room and leave the kids down here to themselves

Dex: Ok, baby, Maven you better be lucky because it was going to be worse than that.

Maven: Yes-sir

We got into the bed and I turned on some music to lighten the mood, Solange Knowles was playing softly in the background as my baby gave me his feet to rub and I was glad too. Just then I played some more softer music I turned on my playlist that has them rain falling and let it fill the room as I began to rub my baby's body down. Just then I noticed the look that Dexter was giving me, and I knew what he wanted.
