Chapter 3: Chapter 3

EXT.GREENSTORM HIGH – DAY.

Olivia's POV.

Sighs. Finally school was over; at least for the day. I waited for my grandfather under a huge tree in front of the school.

"Hey! You are Olivia. Right? A male voice called from behind.

I turned to meet a blonde, skinny  boy I meant in class, he was probably among the many starers who made me feel awful. "Umm yeah!" I stuttered.

"I'm Charlie." He gave me his hands.

"Nice to meet you Charlie." I received his hand, it felt so cold.

"So....." He scratches his head, I could tell that's what he does whenever he was confuse. "What're you doing here?"

"I'm waiting for my grandfather to come pick me up." I snapped.

"Your Grandfather?!" He exclaimed.

"Yeah!" I said sounding indifferent.

"O..k." he said sounding weird. "What about you father? Why don't he come pick you up instead."

I sighed. I wanted to be left alone, not someone asking me weird questions.  "I didn't get to know my parents." I said.

"Any siblings?" He inquired.

"Nah!" I said.

"Ok, can we_ can we hang out sometime." He stuttered.

"I'm not so sure about that." I said.

A car came to halt before us, it was my grandfather.

"Ow! It seemed your boyfriend came instead." Charlie pointed.

I corner eyed him, how could he think my grandfather was my boyfriend. Whatever I ignored him.

"Grandpa!" I ran over and gave him a big hug. "I missed you."

"I missed you too baby." He said against my hair.

He smiles."How was school?"

"Awful!" I snapped.

He smirks."You will get use to it and, it will be fun."

"Sort of. " I muttered.

He smirks. "Come on here." He hugs me one more time.

He released me, and a deep frown settled on his face.

"What is it grandpa?" I asked worriedly.

He gulped down. "Let's go home Olivia." He said in a little bit strange and harsh tone.

"Ok." I gasps. I've never seen him like this before, what could possibly have gone wrong in secs.

"Bye Charlie. It was nice meeting you." I bade Charlie goodbye.

INT: OLIVIA'S RESIDENCE–NIGHT.

Olivia's POV.

I didn't know what was wrong with my grandfather, we drove back home unusually quiet; he didn't seem to want to talk either.

"Grandpa, what's wrong?" I asked on our way home. But he just stared at me and said "We'll be fine Olivia." He sounded so worried.

He was so worried and angry, we had a silent dinner, went to bed, no bedtime stories either.

I lay on his bare chest my hand on his belly enjoying the warmth of his body as usual; I could hear and feel his heart beats slowly against his chest. He strokes my hair gently, he seem to be thinking about something. I didn't know what it was but I wanted him to be better the next morning.

My mind drifted to Ethan, my school biology teacher. I could still feel; his taste on my tongue, his warm breath and kisses on my neck. It made the butterflies in my stomach happy.

Something changed when I licked him; I became more sensitive to him. His scent, foot steps, touch and many others I can't mention. I haven't done that to anyone asides my grandfather, and I was quite sensitive to him too.

"What amuses you Olivia?" My grandfather asked.

Olivia's POV.

Gosh! I didn't know I was smiling from thinking about him. Ok Olivia, don't panic now, he is just your school teacher and nothing else. Don't take it too personal. I tried to convince myself.

"Nothing!" I snapped hoping he won't ask me any other questions. I sighed. I hated questions.

He grins, then kissed me on my forehead.

I was happy to see him smile again that day; at least before going to bed, it meant a lot to me.

"Good night grandpa." I said and tightened my grip on his body as I breathed down to have a good night sleep.

"Good night sweety." He muttered.

Drake POV.

He still couldn't believe that Olivia had an encounter with a werewolf. She seem to be ok and not upset about anything, he couldn't take the blame on her since she was quite innocent and ignorant about werewolves. But he had to be wary; he couldn't stop her from going to school, that would be absurd especially when he was trying to give her a human life as possible as he could.

Olivia was his only family now; he loved her and he was fond of her. He didn't want anything to happen to her. Probably he might want to go hunt down the werewolf who has been sniffing on his grand daughter but it would be a succide mission for a cat to attack an alphawolf, but he would do that for Olivia anyway.

On a second thought, he wasn't sure yet if this werewolf was after Olivia's blood, if he was?, He probably might have killed Olivia by now and that could have hurt him.

He could still smell the reeks of the werewolf on Olivia; he could tell that he had gotten familiar with her. Being familiar with someone was kind of a culture cats, wolves, and vampires share; these works by sniffing on the person to get used to his scent, sometimes licking on him to know his taste. It was kind of a bonding moment.

Only He (her grandfather) and her shared that bond, but now a werewolf had gotten familiar with her and she with the werewolf. Poor Olivia, she probably didn't know what she was doing.

He felt Olivia's body relax on his body, her breath and heartbeat slows down. He knew she was asleep now, a quite peaceful one.

Drake's POV.

He sighs. If Olivia's cat instincts had trusted this werewolf to get familiar with him, maybe he should. But he would watch closely from a distant.

He hated the fact that he had to share Olivia with someone else, especially a werewolf; Those dangerous, gruesome and unstable tyrants. He knew sooner or later he would have to tell  Olivia the truth about her past, but he wasn't sure if he was ready to see the hurt in her eyes.

He strokes Olivia's hair one more time, as he relaxes to have a good sleep; he had a hectic day ahead.
