If It’s Meant To Be

“We arrived at the hospital 30 minutes later. My doctor was on the way since we called while in traffic.



After answering a slew of questions, I change into a hospital gown and wait for the ultrasound technician. Sean is on my left, holding my hand.



Forty-five minutes later, a brown-skinned young lady with kind eyes walked into my room with a wheelchair. I know the process, so I got up before she asked and settled into it. I looked at Sean and he gave me a reassuring smile.



I smiled too.



“I'll be right back.”
