"What do you need Potter?" McGonagall asked.

"Time professor, as much as you can get me" Harry replied.

"Piertotum Locomotor,Hogwarts is threatened " professor McGonagall shouted. "Man your boundaries, protect us, do your duty to our school!" McGonagall continued with a little fear in her voice.

Neville came up with an idea and started talking to professor McGonagall.

"Let me get this straight, professor. You're actually giving us permission to do this?" Neville asked curiously.

"That is correct Longbottom" McGonagall replied.

"To blow it up? Boom?" Neville stoped McGonagall to reassure.

"Boom!" Mcgonagall yelled.

"Wicked." Neville laughed. He turned to Seamus. "But how are we gonna bring it down?" Neville asked.

"Why don't you confer with Mr. Finnigan? As I recall, he has a particular proclivity for pyrotechnics." Mcgonagall said.

"I can bring her down." Seamus replied.

Mcgonagall shooing them away: "That's the spirit! Off you go now."

Seamus and Neville ran to the bridge to set everything up . Meanwhile chaos was roaming the castle's walls. Families knowing not all of them will make it home tonight. Inexperienced students terrified for their lives. Everyone rushing to get to their post, hoping everything would work out in the end." Protego maxima, fianto duri, repello inimicum." Professor Slughorn, professor Flitwick as well as Molly Weasley casted a charm to keep Hogwarts protected a little longer. A massive shield formed that would keep Death Eaters out. As Voldemort's army approached everyone got frightened to death but that didn't stop them from believing in Harry. They were prepared to fight even though they knew it might cost them their lives.

*Meanwhile at the Hogwarts bridge*

Neville and Seamus trying to quickly blow the bridge up as snatchers came running towards it. Snatchers reached the edge of the shield and a few of them disappeared. After Voldemort realized this he destroyed it and as Neville was there running for his life, his friends were at the other side nervously waiting for him. The bridge blew up and everyone saw Neville fall down.

They thought he was gone. Suddenly a wand clattered on the floor, a hand reached out. It was Neville, he made it.

*Entrance of a secret passage*

Fred, George and Percy impatiently waiting for someone to come. They were all scared even though they'd never admit it. Suddenly they hear someone coming. It's Death Eaters.

As they were fighting for their lives, trying to protect one another *Boom* Everyone heard a loud crash. Everything turned black. You could barely see what you were standing on. George was disoriented. He couldn't see his best friend, his partner in crime, his brother, his twin. He looked behind him and there he was, laying on the

ground. Desperately hoping this was all a dream George jumped to Fred's body. The only thing running through his mind was : "It should've been me."

*Courtyard*

Giants destroying the courtyard, killing innocent students. Death Eaters blowing things up and fighting with witches and wizards who stood no chance against them.

"You have fought valiantly, but in vain. I do not wish this. Every drop of magical blood spilled is a terrible waste. I therefore command my forces to retreat. In their absence , dispose of your dead with dignity. Harry Potter tonight you allowed your friends to die for you rather than face me yourself. Join me in the Forbidden Forest and meet your fate. If you do not do this i shall kill every man, woman and child that tried to conceal you from me."  Voldemort called off his forces unexpectedly.

Everyone gathered inside The Great Hall. Fred, Remus, Tonks and many more were dead. Their cold dead bodies were frightening and sorrowful to look at. Molly, Arthur, Harry and many more knowing Teddy had just lost his parents. It struck Harry the most. He knew what it was like growing up without parents.

George lost his best friend and blamed himself for it. The entire Weasley family was grieving. Molly and Arthur had just lost their son. Ron, Ginny, Percy, Bill had just lost their brother. People were loosing hope. They had come far but no one thought they'd win. All of the sudden it started to rain and an unknown wizard stood up and yelled : "Obliviate." It was all over at the blink of an eye. No one remembered anything. Not even Lord Voldemort himself. Only a few british witches and wizards that somehow managed to slip away were  left. In a way all was well. The wizarding world was protected but it cost the british wizarding community everything.
