A few weeks had gone by Hermione Granger once the brightest witch of her age had no idea she was actually a witch. Her life was quite normal, her parents were dentists and she was a straight A student. Furthermore Hermione loved nature and reading. She spends most of her time reading in the woods and it's always the same. She gets there reads for a few hours and leaves, however today was different.
The forest gave her so much energy and happiness. It was exceptionally calm and quiet. She never felt like this before in her life. It felt kind of free. She never noticed how beautiful it all actually was. Massive trees all around her, rainy days always made the forest full of life. Steady fog around her was hiding everything in the distance. It all felt so terrifying but calm at the same time. She dived right inside her book.
Hermione spent a lot of time there that night. She just couldn't let herself leave. As the sun was setting and she was about to finish a chapter one line really gained her interest. "Magic, what a beautiful concept." The word magic felt kind of familiar but she thought to herself : " There's no such thing as magic, don't be silly." So she just shook it off and went home. She took a different path that she normally does. As she was walking down a road the street seemed kind of familiar.
She had never been there before at least she doesn't remember ever being there. After she got home everything was kind of strange. At first she got frightened but then she thought to herself : 'It's all in my head.' As strange as everything was Hermione just went to bed.
*the next morning*
"Hermione! Hermione!" her mom yelled.
" What mom? Is everything okay? Why are you yelling?" Hermione replied.
"You're going to miss school, now get out of bed and hurry up!" her mom said.
Hermione looked at the time. She slept in, it was already 7:30am. If she didn't hurry up she'd be late. Hermione couldn't stand the thought of being late so she quickly got up, brushed her teeth, got dressed and rushed out of the house. She missed the bus so she had to run all the way to school. Trying to get to school on time Hermione fell. Her whole bag tore apart. Fortunately a young man helped her out.
"Bloody hell, what's all this about?" A charming tall young man with ginger hair and freckles asked.
"Well I tripped and my bag tore apart." Hermione answered.
" Here, let me help you." As a gentleman he helped her with her stuff .
Hermione thanked him and they both left different ways. Hermione had to hurry, she had already lost so much time. When she got to school she sat down behind a desk and listened. Let's make one thing clear. Hermione didn't have friends so at lunch time she always sat alone and ate as quickly as possible. After lunch she only had history left meaning she had to only be there for an hour and then she could go home and study.
The bell rang and Hermione went home. When she got home, she took out the first book she could see and dived right in. This was the first time she couldn't concentrate. Something about the boy struck her. She felt weirdly attached to him. She couldn't explain it since she had never met him before. She didn't think of an good explanation for what happened or it was so she just decided to shake it off and go on about her day.
After reading a few chapters she had a bit of dinner and then she went to shower. As she was washing her hair she couldn't stop thinking about him. ' Why was it so strange meeting him? Why did I feel so connected to him? ' It sounded crazy but she couldn't explain it. Before going to bed Hermione decided that she'll wait for the tall red-haired gentleman at the same place she met him today.
"Hi, you're here again." Hermione said.
"Yes, well I had a strange feeling about you. I can't explain it. Something told me to come here again." The guy replied.
Then her alarm went off. It was a dream. Hermione believed in coincidences so she just thought it was a weird coincidence, meeting him . Hermione did the same thing as she does every day. She got dressed, went to school and after school she went to go read. There was nothing abnormal about her life besides the obsessive reading and studying. A week had gone by.
Since she met the guy she had been having strange dreams. She couldn't quite figure out what they were about nor what they meant. However there was one thing she knew for sure. She saw the guy she met a week ago and there was also a guy named Harry. At least she thought so. Hermione started writing down everything she could remember. A massive building, a guy named Harry and the guy from the street. The building was sort of old and there were a few old grown up people sitting at a long table in a huge room.
She had this urge, she couldn't explain it but she subconsciously knew that she had to find this guy. She had to see if there was actually any resemblance between the guy she saw on the street and the ginger she saw in her dreams. She had to look if they had the same eyes or if they both had freckles.
" Mom I'm going out." Hermione yelled from her room.
"Where?" Her dad asked.
"No idea." She replied.
" You can't just go roaming the city on your own," Hermione's mom said quickly, "You've been acting kind of weird sweetheart." She continued.
"Don't worry. I'll be fine. I have to do this." Hermione replied.
"Fine, don't come home late." Her mom yelled as Hermione rushed through the front door.
She started walking towards the bus stop. ' Piccadilly Circus is always crowded, maybe I'll find him there. I have to start somewhere.' Hermione thought to herself. When she got to the bus stop she hopped onto a bus and took a ride to Piccadilly Circus.
Hermione searched for hours nonetheless she didn't find him. It was nearly nightfall therefore this practically impossible task became hopeless. In spite of it being impossible Hermione wasn't one to give up. She sat down and tried to think and observe what happened around her. Looking at a corner she got a sort of flashback. The guy she was desperately trying to find, her and the guy from her dream pushed against a railing in order not to get run over by a bus. It felt weird.
Did she just daydream or what happened? She couldn't have fallen asleep, she was very much awake. Maybe it was actually a flashback, Hermione couldn't help but wonder. 'Stop being ridiculous, you only met the guy once how could've that been a flashback?' Hermione thought to herself. Since it was getting close to 9pm she decided to go home, she didn't want her mom to worry. When se got home she immediately went to sleep. She started dreaming about a huge castle with teenagers running around everywhere.
"Hey, so where have you been?" A red haired guy asked her.
"Uhm, I've been reading." Hermione said hesitantly.
"Quit being strange, weirdo." A guy with round glasses added.
Hermione woke up as soon as he said that. All of these dreams have been so freaky. She never felt that way before. It was 6am so she felt no need to go back to sleep. She got dressed, ate a bit of breakfast and left for school. She only had 5 classes so she could've gotten home by 2pm but instead she went to search for this boy. She felt kind of crazy, almost like a stalker except a stalker would've found him already. She went to check out Piccadilly again. 'Rotten luck.' Hermione thought to herself. She was loosing ambition. 'I'm never going to find him. What's the point then?' She thought while heading home. She passed a heavenly park.
Flowers were everywhere, it felt like the trees were hugging her. She sat down onto the grass, grabbed a book out of her bag and started reading. 30 minutes went by and she looked up to see the pretty view again. There he was. There was the boy she'd been trying to find. She quickly got up and sprinted towards him. She managed to catch up to him but she embarrassed herself. She tripped just as she tapped his shoulder.
"It's you." Hermione said as she was trying to catch her breath.
"Bloody hell. What do you think you're doing?" The guy asked.
"I just really have to talk to you." Hermione answered.
"Why? If i may ask." The guy said fearfully.
"Well let's go somewhere else." Hermione replied.
"Uhm, okay. I'm Ron by the way, Ron Weasley." The guy introduced himself.
"I'm Hermione Granger, pleasure to meet you." Hermione introduced herself.
"The pleasure's all mine." Ron replied.
