ch.07 Red's secret

Finn's P.O.V.

I was slouching on the couch when someone knocked on the front door, I assumed that it's Jason since it's already 8:40pm, I was thinking of not going anymore since I was worried that I might regret going to this party that I don't even know where it is held.

'thud, thud,thud' someone knocked on the front door, mom went and opened the door "good evening Mrs. Parker, I'm here to pick up Finn" my eyes widened when I heard Red's voice in my front door.

I immediately jolted up from the couch and ran to the bathroom and tidied my clothes and comb my hair with my fingers. I smelled my breath and it smells like the food I had for dinner. I quickly rinsed my mouth with listerine and smelled again. I sniffed my clothes and grabbed a perfume behind the mirror, there was only one and I didn't have a choice so grabbed it and sprayed myself. It was an Axe body spray. I went back to the living room and saw mom and Red on the couch talking to each other.

mom noticed me, "Finn, there's a girl here looking for you" Mom shouted and I saw Red sitting on the couch beside her and Red glanced at me. "Finn!" she waved her hand to me. "hi" I said and smiled to her.

"you weren't wearing a body spray, what changed" mom said and smirked at me. "mom stop you're embarrassing me!" Red giggled and I can feel myself blushing infront of her.

"is she your girlfriend Finn?" mom mumbled and my eyes widened and I can feel myself getting nervous.

"mom stop, and no she's not" I mumbled and mom was just laughing at me "stop laughing, it's not funny!"

"okay I'll just leave you guys now, you both have fun" mom mumbled and winked at me and went to the Abby and Jacob's room.

"I'm sorry about that, uhmm I thought Jason..." Red stood up and she looks so beautiful she is wearing a red dress and her hair is neatly tied. "yeah, he was stuck with Ava in the uhmm...Finn, there's something that I need to tell you" she trailed off and I just nodded.

"it's best if we talk somewhere private, maybe in my car?" Red suggested. "uhh yeah, sure" she walked outside and I followed her.

I was shocked to see the black car outside, it was a black Aston Martin Vantage. "is this your car?"

I asked pointing to the black car "yeah, it's my father's gift to me for my 18th birthday." my eyes couldn't believe from what I'm hearing. How rich are these people?

We got inside the car and she started driving, the atmosphere was getting awkward with the silence between us.

"so, uhm, what are we going to talk about?" I was getting nervous and I could feel my heart pounding. "it's actually weird and I might sound crazy to you but I need you to know about this." I nodded "okay?" I said.

where is she taking me? the sky was clouded with huge trees around the road. It's so dark, my heart keeps on pounding, "relax, you're safe with me" she mumbled and glanced at me. I tried to relax and closed my eyes for a second. There was no ending of the drive, I haven't seen a light. "we're almost there" she said looking at me and smiled.

After a few minutes we arrived, in a huge gate with guards on each side. They asked and Red was just looking at them and they opened the gate letting us through.

"what is this place?" I asked looking outside the window, "you'll soon find out" She said.

I was dumbfounded with this huge area with cabins on the edges, at least 20 meters apart. I looked straight on the road and saw a huge castle. "is that a castle?"I mumbled. "yep" she mumbled.

"wait is the party over there?" I glanced to here and she just nodded, judging from her dress that she's wearing, I think this is some kind of a special gathering party. I was wearing a plain white t-shirt, black jeans and a black and white sneakers.

Red stopped the car in front of the gate of the castle and there are two men standing on guard, they didn't say a word and neither did Red, but I saw them nodded and they let us through. "what just happened" I asked confused.

"what?" she mumbled and glanced at me "the guards, they don't talk and just let us through" I said, "they already know me so they just let us through" she explained, this is so suspicious or maybe they just recognized her car's plate number.

Red parked the car on what seems to be a parking lot for only fancy cars. "Finn, this isn't a high school party, it's actually my 18th birthday party, Jason should've have been the one to pick you up, but you need to know this from me." she informed me with a concerned tone of voice.

I nodded, "okay, I'm listening." I said, "promise me you won't freak out" she said to me looking at my eyes and I just nodded not sure if I will be.

"okay" she mumbled and let out a deep breath. "I'm not what you think that I am Finn" she mumbled and I got confused, "what do you mean?"

"I'm not normal" she mumbled "I don't get it, you looked completely normal and you're beautiful" I said nervously. Red blushed "that's not what I meant"

"have you ever dreamed of a white wolf?" my eyes widened to her question. "how did you..."

I got bewildered of her words "so you did" she exclaimed.

"how did you know?" I asked confusedly "let's take this slow, I don't want to freak you out" she said, she sounds so excited and concerned at the same time. "okay," I said.

"you're my mate Finn" she mumbled "what do you mean by 'my mate'?" I furrowed my brows. "we are fated mates, we are destined to be together" she mumbled, "what?... I don't understand."

"you wouldn't understand yet, because you're not like me" she said, "you're not making any sense Red, you keep on saying that you're different like you're not normal, but I don't see what makes you different" I snapped at her and I ran my hands through my hair.

"Finn, the wolf that you saw in your dream was me" she mumbled "you're still not making any sense" how could she be a wolf when she's literally looks just like a normal girl.

"look I'm trying to explain this to you and not freak you out" she said and held my hand, I looked at her and she is being serious. "I'm a werewolf Finn, that's what I meant by different" I didn't believe what I heard.

"prove it" I said, she sound serious yet I think she is saying silly things about herself, but I couldn't smile, she leaned to cupped my cheeks to make me look at her in the eyes.

She leaned closer and our lips we're an inch closer once again, but this time nothing is going to interrupt us and before I knew it, our lips touched, brushing against each other.

I placed my hands to her waist as we were kissing gently, her red lips taste like strawberry, I opened my mouth and her tongue find its way into my mouth. Our gentle kissed went to rough in mere seconds. Her two hands are caressing my hair and she doesn't stop kissing me.

I pulled away to catch my breath and saw her beautiful blue eyes started to glow to purple and then it turned into red. I got startled and I was frozen on the seat looking at her red glowing eyes just like the ones in my dream.

"don't be scared Finn, I'm not gonna hurt you." she mumbled, "..." my eyes couldn't believe what I'm seeing and I couldn't speak due to fear.

"I'm a werewolf Finn and you're my mate, we are destined to be together." Red mumbled.

"I'm done with whatever this is... just take me home" I said trying not to freak out on her. After what she said minutes ago, made me realize that she was not lying. Her red eyes was evident, I tried to control myself, but fear has took over my body.

"Finn just hear me out" she mumbled, I pulled my hand away and opened my door to get out. I got scared to what might happen next.

I ran back to the gate, but the guards were growling and a sound of bones cracking, one of the guards turned into a wolf and it's making a stance ready to pounce on me, I fell to the ground on my back seeing a huge black wolf trying to kill me.

My eyes are starting to swell in tears then the other guard turned into a wolf growling. They're going to kill me, I froze with my hands supporting my weight on the ground.

This can't be happening, I must be dreaming.
