ch. 10 Accepted

Red's P.O.V.

I shifted to my wolf and it completely torn my dress, I growled very loud and the pack soldiers who just turned into a wolf caught my attention.

'touch him and I will rip your throat out' I mind linked him. 'what is the meaning of this? he is a human and a trespasser' he responded.

Finn curled up on the ground, completely terrified on the situation.

The other wolf must've sent a mind link to the rest of the nearby pack members and that includes my dad who just appeared in the scene.

Jason came running to Finn, but dad stopped him.

"Alpha, this human is a trespasser" one of the soldier shifted back and informed him.

dad pulled out a gun and shot Finn as he was about to stand. "DAD NO!" I quickly shifted and held Finn in my arms as he was about to fall, my eyes were filled with tears, but I realized he wasn't bleeding.

I checked his back where he was shot and it was a just dart, I pulled the dart and glanced to my dad, dad shot him with a tranquilizer.

Finn's eyes were still fighting from the sedative, but in just a few seconds he passed out.

"why did you shot him?" I glared to my dad and he handed to gun to Jason. "I had to, he was terrified and panicking." dad said his reasons.

Few pack soldiers came by that moment and asked through mind link, I could tell since there eyes were like daggers, but they didn't know why I was trying to protect him.

"I shouldn't have brought him here" I said and stood up carrying Finn in my arms, "what is the meaning of this?" a pack soldier asked who just happened to arrive.

"Alpha, why are you protecting this human?"

"he is my daughter's mate," Dad sighed, "this never happened and no one will tell anyone outside the pack about this, are we clear!?" he said it very loud and clear to everyone. "YES, ALPHA!"

"Jason, take this boy to one of the guest rooms" he ordered pointing at Finn in my arms, but I refused.

"he is staying in my cabin, he is mine" Devon took over and growled, my canines grew out in anger.

"very well" Dad said and sighed. "I will mind link every ranked members to have a meeting in my office and that includes you"

Dad was angry, I could tell by his expression, but he was holding back.

"Jason, take Finn to my cabin in the and guard him, don't let anyone near him" I said sternly and Jason nodded and took Finn from my arms and carried him away.

Ava handed me a baggy t-shirt and a shorts. I didn't spoke to her and I just wore the clothes immediately and went to my father's office for a meeting.

The moment I entered the room they were already arguing, everyone was already there and went silent when I entered the room, all of their eyes are on me.

"Ruby, please take a seat" Ronan said and gestured, he is a pack elder. I nodded and sat.

"is this true that you're mate is a human?" he asked and whispers surrounded the room. " SILENCE!" my dad commanded in his alpha tone.

"yes" I said, "and when did you discovered that he was your mate?"

"just a few days ago when he transfered to my school" I answered honestly, lying won't be on my side since he can see smokes from a lying mouth.

There was silence as he was talking to my father through mind link.

"you will anger the high tables for this Alpha," the elder spoke in anger. "you read the prophecy and you know it's bound to happen, you can't deny it."

Whispers and murmurs once more surrounded the room, dad slammed his hand on the table and startled everyone.

"If anyone who wishes to speak, do it one by one or else we won't understand each other!" Ronan shouted and they all nodded.

"Alpha, if I may, this human will only lead us to war against the high tables" Hugh stood up and spoke, he is the beta of the pack.

"the high tables may have set our laws, but this is a prophecy, it has never happened to any wolf, therefore they must've known about this" dad answered.

"how can you be so sure that it's a prophecy? it's been decades since we had peace with the high tables" Hugh mumbled.

"because Dolphus himself gave it to my father," Ronan said, "Alpha, do you plan to tell the high tables about this?" Marcus the pack gamma stood up and said.

"no, but the prophecy said that when my daughter and her human mate becomes one, everyone will know the birth of a human turning into a wolf" dad said, I remained silent, but his words coming out of his mouth shocked me.

"dad, are you saying that he can turn into a wolf after we mate?" I stood up from my seat and gained everyone's attention.

"it's possible, but it says only an alpha could do it" dad said and everyone's expression was shocked as they know that I am an alpha by blood. I smirked and sat knowing that my mate will be accepted and be respected.

Everyone took a chance to speak and questioned the elder and the alpha, they argued for half an hour and when everyone finally had their answers, they just sat and listened.

Some of them weren't satisfied and mad of their answers and the decisions to be made.

"as for now, we shall welcome this human to our pack as a guest, anyone who dares to harm him will be punished accordingly" Dad commanded and some of them growled.

"Is he going to live here?" Hugh asked. "He is already in my daughter's room, and he is welcome to go in and out of our territory"

"that's absurd! we can't risk the chance of exposing our kind, what if he tells anyone? how are you going to handle that responsibility? I say we keep him inside our walls" Hugh argues.

"we can't keep him inside, his parents will know that he is missing and I'm sure the boy wouldn't feel safe around you all the time! I know this is a stupid idea but, I will make sure he doesn't tell anyone" dad reciprocated in anger.

"I am the alpha of this pack, therefore I know all the risk in this situation, it is my responsibility and I don't run from it... I will make sure this doesn't go out of my control." Dad tried to calm his tone and sighed, he is holding his anger for a long time and I know he has anger issues, I know he is against this too, but I'm his daughter and he promised to my mother to not severe a mate's bond.

"if there are no more questions, you're all dismissed" dad announced and everyone took their leave.

I stood up and was about leave, "Ruby, stay here for a minute, I would like to speak with you" Ronan said and I nodded.

"Are you sure you want to do this? Ronan asked, "as if I have any option, I already exposed him to our kind," I scoffed. He interrogated me for almost 20 minutes.

"Ruby, if he is going to be the next alpha, we need to train him to his full potential." Dad mumbled.

"it's best if you tell him that, last time I tried to speak with him he ran away" I mumbled and frowned.

"very well, tell him to come here tomorrow morning when he wakes up, I'm sure he already knows what we are" Dad said and I nodded.

"you may go, the alpha and I will have to sort some things" Ronan said. "good night dad, and to you Ronan" I said and they nodded.

I left the room immediately, the atmosphere earlier with the rank members was very heated and I was powerless against them, but dad handled the situation smoothly, he was about to burst, but I stopped him.

I reached my cabin, Ava and Jason sat outside and waited for me.

Ava ran to me and hugged me tightly, "why are you so dramatic?" I rolled my eyes and chuckled.

"I'm not dramatic, I just thought you needed this and I just want to, and you ruined your hair, how could you, I did my best on it too and you just ruined it" she explained and folded her arms.

"it's just my hair, you can always do it again" I said and she jumped to hugged me again, giving her the chance to style my hair is one of her joy to annoy me.

"so, how did it go?" Jason mumbled, "it went well, I mean kinda, they all agreed to accept him, but of course not everyone agrees and tried to argue." I said.

"wait, does that mean he can stay here?" Jason asked. "yes, but that's up to Finn, my father will allow him to go in and out of the pack."

"you guys should head back and rest, I will take care of him and let's talk about this later, it's been a long day," I mumbled, "okay, good night Red, see you tomorrow" Ava said and hugged me again.

"call me if anything happens okay?" Jason said and I nodded, "good night"

I locked the door went to my room where Finn was sleeping, he was sleeping peacefully.

I took off my clothes and went under the sheets of the bed with Finn, I didn't plan to be naughty, but this is just how I sleep.

It was hot and Finn was already covered in sweats, his t-shirt is soaked so I took his clothes off gently.

I looked at his figure and it is a little bulky, I guess he doesn't do sports.

His scent is too strong, I was afraid I can't hold back, Devon is already shouting in my head to mate with him, she gets horny easily.

I lay beside him, this is all I can do for now, I didn't really think of holding back earlier and let Devon take over, but I know I shouldn't do it without his conscious and I should be the one to embrace him first inside me and not Devon.

Fighting these urges is making me crazy, I haven't done this before, but I feel like I know what to do to make him feel good.

I was sound asleep until I felt the warmth of the sun, Finn is about to wake up. "good morning" I whispered.

"I just had the craziest dream," he mumbled.

This time he reacted to it and I felt the sheets lifted that covered my body, he gently moved his body away from me. "Red?"

"Red, wake up" he said and shook my arm, "what are you doing in my bed?" he said and I smiled a little, "this is my bed, you're in my bed Finn"

I can tell he is questioning this in his head, why I'm here and why he's naked with me.

"did...something happened... to us?" I feel him getting off from the bed, "relax, we didn't do anything in bed" I mumbled and turned my eyes open to look at him and he quickly grabbed the small pillow and covered his dick.

I chuckled, "sorry, you were covered in sweats so I had to take your clothes off." I bit my lower lip, he looks very sexy standing in front of me naked, except his facial expression, he looks so tensed and embarrassed.

He sniffed his armpit and I couldn't help but chuckled.

I stood up from the bed to get some clothes and he just stare at my naked body for a second and looked away.

"aren't you shy walking around naked in front of someone else's eyes?" he mumbled and still looking away.

" I do, but not around you" he glanced at me for a second and I just walked straight to him and he just steps back as I get nearer.

He doesn't realize that my closet is right behind him.

"what happened to the party last night?" he mumbled and he hit his back on my closet.

"you don't remember anything?" I asked and he shook his head and we are a feet close to each other.

"what are you doing?" he mumbled I chuckled, "Finn relax, you're standing behind my closet" I just smiled, he doesn't looked at me, he is completely shy about this.

"you'll get use to this, you won't feel nervous around me when I mark you" I said and smirked as run my fingers from his face down to his body, he flinched and carefully stepped away of my closet while covering his dick with a small pillow.

I picked up some clothes from my closet and wore them, I looked at Finn and he slapped himself very hard, he must've thought that this is a dream.

"Finn, this is not a dream and what you saw last night wasn't either..." I mumbled trying to tell him.

"where are we?" he asked. "in my cabin, stay here, you'll be safe, I need to get you some clothes to wear..." I mumbled tying my hair into ponytail and handed him a towel.

"and don't try to run or else I will eat you" I smirked and he immediately nodded.

I left my cabin looking for Jason, he should've been here by now, I told him to come and drop some clothes for Finn.

I knocked on his cabin as he wasn't responding to my link, he's probably still sleeping. I can't believe this guy, he immediately forgot what I just told him last night.

He opened the door "what's up? oh shit I forgot! wait here I'll go grab it now" he said and I rolled my eyes.

We went back to my cabin and I told Jason to wait on the couch, I entered the room and Finn quickly stood up from the bed.

My eyes widened to see his dck poking out of the towel and I just stare on it and soon when he realized he immediately turned around and I just chuckled.

"Finn you don't have to hide it" I teased him and laughed, "stop laughing" he shouted and I feel like I should tease him more.

"if you let me touch it, I'll let you touch my boobs" I chuckled trying to tease him, "really? wait, stop! no I don't want to, just leave the clothes"

"you're not going to touch it or anything just get out and let me dress up." he mumbled and I decided not to further embarrassed him to Jason who was holding his laugh on the couch.

" alright fine, I was just teasing you" I chuckled and he glanced at me placing the clean clothes on the bed.

A few minutes later he finally stepped out of the room, I was on the couch talking with Jason.

"good thing it fits you perfectly" Jason mumbled and smirked.

"were you here this whole time?" he asked, "yeah and I heard 'everything'" he sighed and Jason just laughed. "this isn't funny at all" Finn said, Jason and I just burst into laughter.

he looked at me and I stopped "can you please tell me what happened last night?" he pleaded.

"I will tell you at the pack house, so let's go" I mumbled. "what's a pack house?" Finn said.

"the castle Finn," Jason mumbled and for a few seconds Finn didn't say a word.

"I remembered everything" Finn mumbled. "you're a werewolf" he said in disbelief expression.

I walked to him and he didn't move, I hugged him "don't be scared Finn, they're not going to hurt you"
