Lost

I wake up on my bed. Yesterday I feel asleep on my bed while I was staring at the ceiling and tears were coming out of my eyes. I slowly seat on my bed feeling completely numb. I don’t know how I should feel or act. I see a notification on my phone. I pick up and see that Oscar texted. We were going to go out today. I think he is coming to pick me up. I get off my bed and get ready for school. 


I walk downstairs after getting dressed. I walk into the kitchen to find dad and my stepmom just sitting on the table. Almost like they were waiting for me. I open the fridge and get an apple. 


“I am going to go.” I say while I turn to leave. 


“No. We need to talk.” My dad says stopping me. I turn and head to the table. I pull out a chair and sit down. I look around and notice that Mike is not here. 


“He already left.” My dad answers. “But we are not here to talk about Mike. The way you acted around your mom is wrong.” He says and I feel myself clench my fist.
