Mike looks at me while still holding my hand. I stare at him and stop walking. I wait for him to say something but he just looks at me.

“What do you want, jackass?” Oscar asks him he grabs his hand. He clears his throat and lets go of my hand.

”I heard your conversation with your mom.” He says while looking down. “I never knew she just left you.” He says.

“You don’t know a lot of things.” I state.

“I’m sorry. I don’t expect you to forgive for the way I treated you but I am trying to change.” He says while I finally looks at me.

“You are right. You don’t deserve my forgiveness.” I say while I turn around to look away.

“Ava?” He calls out. I turn to look at him. “I’m sorry.” He says while looking sad.

“I can see.” I say while I turn away.
