I got my Instagram and I try to text Oscar and Haley. I text them and wait for a response. Oscar responds right away asking me how I am and why I haven’t gone to school today and that Mike said that I was sent away. I respond to him by telling him part of the truth. I just leave out the part that I was giving to a gang instead I told him that they sent to an orphanage and that I was adopted by gay dads and he bought it. Haley asked the same thing and I gave her the same answer and she was furious. She so angry that she was about to go to my house to beat my parents up. I convinced her that it’s not a big deal and these guys are nice me.

I hear a knock on my door. I turn confused, normally my door was usually slammed open. I stand to open the door. Lucas stands in front of me with a box of cookies. He walks past me and sits on my bed.

”Let’s eat cookies.” He says while placing the box on my bed.
