Monica Objects

"My parents and I got you involved in the rift between us. I know that they were behind your last two marriages. They've ruined your life enough and I couldn't even do anything about it."

"Theresa.. "

"I'm not done yet. I'll make sure this wedding doesn't happen. I know you don't wanna get married so please just play along until I find a solution. Just bear with me."

She pulled me into a hug and rested her wet face on my shoulder. She had been used as a pawn by my wealth driven parents. She's empty now so they're trying to sell her to the highest bidder.

"I love you so much," she sobbed.

"Me too, Aunt."

"Am I interrupting a little girl moment?" Ryder walked in. His tie had gone loose again.

I wonder why.

"Shut up," Aunt Tiffany wiped her tears with a tissue I handed her.

"You've been asked to come downstairs with the bridesmaid. I already stopped by her room to tell her and damn, she is hot. She fell for me.Hard."

" I'll be back."

I squezzed myself into a bathroom and changed my clothes. I got into the gown and heels they got me. I brought out my phone, took a quick selfie and sent it to Scott.

I was adjusting my hair when my phone beeped rapidly.

That's my girl.

Smokin' hot

Babymama

Babymama?

Lucas.

He must have sneaked his number into my phone. I packed the clothes I took off into the bag. I walked out of the bathroom.

"Wow, that dress is perfection," Aunt clapped while Ryder whistled.

Not surprised.

I took off my eye ring, nose ring and lip ring. I don't wanna look like a bull at the party, do I? I collected the car keys from Ryder and weaved my way downstairs. There were a lot of people in this house.

I opened the door of the car , dumped the bag in the car seat and slammed the door close. I was on my way back inside when I saw Mr and Mrs Harvey approaching me.

Great.

Don't they have anything to do but to bother me?

I took my stand and rested on the hood of the car.

"Theresa, how have you been?", Mr Harvey asked dipping his hands into his pockets.

"The same since the day you left me."

"You have to sign these papers. We need them for ......"

I brought out my pen and signed the papers. They looked at me weirdly.

"What?" I asked.

"That was easy." Mrs Harvey replied, pocketing the papers.

"Too easy." Her husband replied too.

I chuckled lightly and walked away.

"Yeah, too easy." I muttered to myself as they announced that the wedding was about to start.

People were already seated in the church while some were still trooping from the house to the church. Aunt Tiffany was just about to enter the car when I stopped her.

"The church's just right there, do you have to ride in a car?"

"You want me to walk there?'' She raised an eyebrow. "That's not how it's done, honey."

A man walked Aunt down the aisle. Since grandpa was dead, I guess he was the only choice.

Where are you, Monica?

The wedding progressed slowly.

"Does anyone have anything to say against these two getting married? Speak up or forever be silent," the priest said.

There was silence through the church.

" Then, I..."

"I object!" A tiny but firm voice boomed the auditorium. Everyone turned their heads swiftly.

A fair woman, with blonde hair, green eyes, dressed in sweats stood on the aisle.

"That man is engaged to me! You're trying to get him married against his will. They don't wanna be together."

Sweats to a wedding? Fashion!

"If you're gonna them married to each other, it'll be after my death. I mean, what the hell? He's at least five years younger than her!"

She brought out a knife and placed it against her wrist. People started gasping.

Classic.

"You can get married after I'm dead, okay?"

"Monica! Monica, stop!" The groom kept yelling.

"Tiffany!" Someone screamed from the entrance.

I looked at the area where the voice came from and I couldn't believe my eyes.

Hotness.

He had dirty blonde hair, blue eyes and the most perfect jawline I've ever seen. He was tall and had a muscular build.

Is he one of the Hemsworth brothers?

"Tiffany! Is this why you broke up with me?" He asked as he walked towards the altar. Aunt Tiffany's eyes went watery when he moved closer to her.

"You can't do this to me." He removed the veil from her face and cupped her cheeks.

Monica moved closer to the groom and he pulled her into a hug as tears fell from her face.

"I love you." Aunt said to the blue eyed guy as he smashed his lips against hers.

This is some telenovela shit.

I stood up and started clapping so loud without nobody to back me up. Everyone stared at me weirdly. Ryder stood up, whistling and clapping. Few seconds later, some people joined as the couple's separated.

We all walked out of the church with some people murmuring. Mr and Mrs Harvey looked super embarrassed. I smiled to myself.

Missing accomplished.

"Thank you so much," the groom walked up to me with Monica by his side. ." You sent that message to Monica, right?"

I smiled as he shook hands with me and Aunt Tiffany hugged me out of nowhere.

"I love you, I love you so much," she whispered into my ears. "Thank you so much."

"So, basically you crashed the wedding?" Scott sipped from his cup.

"Yes, it was epic."

"I'm all packed." Ryder came downstairs and looked at us.

"Do you really have to leave?" I took a bite out of Scott's sandwich.

"I promised someone I'll be back today."

He picked up the TV remote and scrolled through channels.

"Let me guess, a new chick?" Scott said as he high-fived me.

"She's not a chick, she's my main girl." He smiled sheepishly.

"What's her name?"

"Stella Roberts."

"When did you meet her?"

I was suddenly getting interested. Any girl who could make Ryder fall had to be really good.

"Yesterday at the wedding."

"What?" Scott blurted out.

"Was she the bridesmaid?" I asked giving him a knowing look.

"Yeah, turns out she's in my college."

"I really hope this lasts," I patted him as I grabbed my car keys.

"You wanna drop him off?" Scott looked up at me.

"Yeah, wanna come?"

"Nah," he frowned. "I'll just stay here."

"You can invite Ivy. I don't mind." I picked up my jacket and wore it.

"We broke up, remember?"

"Yeah, but you made up, right?"

"No, we didn't. What gave you that idea?" He stood up.

"Well, I saw you two cuddling the other night." I shrugged.

"So, you were spying?" He smirked.

"No, I had something to do and I saw you guys."

"We thought we were better off as friends."

"Nice, she has nothing to do with me anymore."

I placed Ryder's luggage in the trunk and walked to the side of the car.

"Hey beautiful!" Luke peeped his head out of the van.

"You gotta start paying rent." I entered the car. Ryder was having a video chat with someone.

"Hi, Stella!" I pushed my head in front of the phone.

She was really beautiful.

Brown eyes, brown hair, small lips. Don't lemme start listing all her features.

"Hi," she smiled. "Tessa, right?"

"Tess. But this doofus here calls me Tessa." I winked at her.

"I'm on my way to the airport right now. Hopefully, I'll see you guys there?"

"Yeah, I'll meet you there." He winked and she blushed.

Urghh!
