Gilded Age: No Longer Home

Sue glanced around, the sight breaking her heart. Tears slowly fell. "I thought this part of me was gone." She reached her hand up and wiped under her eyes.

Valor tilted his head and stared at her. "This is good . . . never lose . . . lose your tears . . . protect your tears." He sunk down into the ground.

Sue turned her head toward the ground. She walked forward, trying not to look at the scenes. The Authority Force seemed to be pushing back the armed terrorists. The battle medics and doctors were running around among the wounded. Calx stood in the midst, directing and healing.

When Sue lifted her head, a Casalyian was pulling a Human out from the rubble. Once he was free, the Human gave the Casalyian a hug.

Humans, Nards, and Casalyians were lifting each other up. It didn't matter if someone happened to be Casalyian, Human, or Nard. They reached their hands out to each other.
