The Casalyians are a noble race, maintaining the isolation their mechanical city in the sky affords them. Their abilities and wisdom exceed those of the humans.

But sixteen-year-old Creed Angelus has applied to the Council of for permission to visit with the Humans. His goal is clear and attainable, study the humans to see if his race could live with them.

But some stand in his way. The very same council members who permitted him are now targeting him. Finding offense in his unlikely heritage, they will pursue any avenue to destroy Creed.

The Falling Darkness Series

 Sizzler smirked while he spoke to Yin. "Big girls do not cling to their mothers." Then he turned his attention to Monett, who was already descending the stairs. He happily followed her. 


 Monett's chubby monster, Lance, remained behind momentarily. Looking sorrowful at Yin, he murmured, "You do not have to cling to her. Cling to me instead." With those words, he turned to follow his mistress. 


 "Yin." Monett's honey-coated voice drifted up the stairs, "Come to say good-by to your daddy." 


 Yin grumpily stomped down the stairs, mumbling inaudibly. When she reached the bottom, she noticed her mother two doors away. Yin ran to her mother, then turned to see inside the open door. 


 "Daddy!" Yin called out to the only occupant of the cell. 


 The occupant sighed and turned to face Yin.
