The Casalyians are a noble race, maintaining the isolation their mechanical city in the sky affords them. Their abilities and wisdom exceed those of the humans.

But sixteen-year-old Creed Angelus has applied to the Council of for permission to visit with the Humans. His goal is clear and attainable, study the humans to see if his race could live with them.

But some stand in his way. The very same council members who permitted him are now targeting him. Finding offense in his unlikely heritage, they will pursue any avenue to destroy Creed.

His half-brother, Vincent, remains loyal and protective of his younger brother while pursuing his mission, the mysterious disappearance of his young wife.

Falling Darkness follows the quests of Creed and Vincent, their conflicts in Casalynn, bonding encounters with the humans, and subsequent battles with the Nards, sub-monsters dwelling underground.

 "I have been lucky so far," Terrence spoke as he stood up. 


 "Someday that luck is going to run out," Ramos commented. "Just do not get caught, kid. You are the best of the best. I'd hate to see all that talent go to waste." 


 Terrence pulled out his jet black wings, then spoke to his creature. “Squawk, disappear." 


 Squawk obeyed. As quietly as a scared hunted animal, he disappeared. 


 Terrence closed his eyes and envisioned where he was going. Then he called out, "Relocation." He disappeared from Ramos and appeared at the outside of Dungeon A3. 


 Ramos stared after Terrence, thinking about how relocation works differently for each Casalyian. Sure, some are the same, but most of the time a Casalyian will choose what works for them. Some envision the place where they are going while they are teleporting. Some already have it in their minds, while others like Terrence wait until right before they disappear.
