Mel folded his arms. “Listen here, you blue tin can. In my experience, those who know things hoard them for a reason. What’s your purpose in telling us? Heck, it doesn’t seem like you let a critter run in those woods. What could you possibly want from us?”
Danny snapped out of his wonder and glanced at the robots, Mel and Terrence.
Terrence seemed tense.
“Correct, but I am not a blue tin can. I am TIM-ND-AF. It stands for the intelligent Machine nobody asked for. Please, call me Tim.”
Ashley blinked, and her eyelids fell slightly. “I really shouldn’t say this, but your name leaves much to be desired… In Casalynn, your name is your bond. It’s the thing people hold you to.”
Tim tilted his head. “My programming doesn’t understand. Where is this casalynn?”
“It fell,” and Ashley whispered. “It once lived in the sky.”
The other nearby robots glanced at each other while murmuring in excitement.
