I couldn't call it 'an intense kiss'. Rather, it was a quick one. The moment Evelyn backed away, her cheeks turned even more crimson, making me wait for her to hide her face. It was kind of amusing to see them that way, but I was genuinely happy too.

Darren's shock still hadn't subsided. With his wide eyes, he kept looking at her.

And at that moment, I felt them. I felt that they forgot we were even present there. I knew how it felt, and automatically, my eyes traveled towards Cathia. She was continuously smiling and watching their motionless love. I smiled.

There could have been more moments of scenes like those had Lionel not roared above our head. "Tie yourselves. I guess it's enough."

"Why were you even born Lion!" I yelled at him. "You're so boring." I went towards a tree and tied the other part of the rope that Lionel had tied to me, with it.
