ALICE
I grip on the chair’s arms tightly. Things suddenly turn out much worse. I can’t get a full grasp of my mind, it’s threatening to slip away to the deepest darkest void inside. My body is shaking, to the point where the ground feels like it’s giving out at me any moment.
“Oh I see. Now I know which part of your appearance feels off.” She smiled at me and grazed my eyelashes.
“You have such beautiful eyes on this picture. Sparkling emerald eyes. Not dull gray. Could it be… a contact?” She inch her face closer to mine.
“Removed it.” she ordered. I shuddered.
“No.” I whispered. She slaps my face so hard my eyeballs dance in a wiggling motion.
“Remove it or I’ll have someone from my men to remove it for you.” I shivered.
“Removed?” I barely whisper.
“How can I? When I’m tied up like this?” If I speak out my voice I’m afraid it will shake because of unspeakable fear clawing in my throat.
