1.11 Crushed

Louis and the others ignored this and continue to search. They entered a room filled with scattered papers, they checked the papers if it has any clues to where Mikael is. Louis stopped when he saw a file named Mikael and saw his picture inside. Ha gasped at what he saw.

Brainwashing. Torture. Experiment...

He blanked out.

Riel who noticed Louis stopped immediately come to him and saw him staring at a file, his expression change when he saw the content. Pictures of Mikael during his stay on this place was in the files, it looked horrible. Mikael with his small body glittered with scars and dull eyes.

Riel take the file in Louis's hands and checked it throughly, he found a 'Failed' stamp on the papers and gritted his teeth in anger. Unn and Sal was silent when they saw the papers.

This is a major matter, this violates the treaty that was signed 1000 years ago. To hurt and harm other races and instigate for war to happen. That man, Frid, is a madman, he wants war. He wants to destroy the world. He obviously put these papers here as evidence for his violations and let the different races blame and pour their anger on the Angeli race using their allied race, the Devin so that when war happens, no one will be able to stop them. They will mutually destroy each other until nothing was left.

A paper fell out from the pile and Louis picked it up, he saw what was written.

[ Corruption Successful. The subject can be released. ]

He gripped the paper in anger. They hurt Mikael and many people like this.

Now, Kite knew how this world was destroyed. It's not Mikael's fault. He is actually just controlled by the real mastermind, he didn't resist because he hates the world. No one cared for him, no one loves him. He is just a child.

Tears swelled up on his eyes as he tried to stop his self from sobbing. This world is so cruel to him, why can't it be destroyed? He must have thought like that. Without anyone giving him love, he must have curled up from pain when he's alone.

He wipes his eyes and looked at Riel, Unn and Sal. They looked at him concerned. He smiled and put the paper in the table.

[ This bastard. I'm going to kill him ] Louis thought darkly.

Corruption. This word means that they have blocked his emotions but not completely. It will just obstruct few feelings of the subject depending on the controller of the corruption. He knows that Frid has the control of Mikael's corruption. Louis didn't know what emotions that bastard blocked but he will kill him so it didn't matter.

Mikael opened his eyes but it's still dark. He tried to move and found that he was chained. His face darkens. This didn't happen to him in the previous life, what happened?

He calmly looked around and wait until his eyes got used to the darkness. He saw a man sitting not far away from him, drinking tea.

He remembered this man, it's this man who help him destroying the world. What is he doing?

He's watching something in a big screen turned away from him. He seems to be enjoying what he's seeing. The man seems to noticed his gaze and looked at him.

" Ah You're awake! Great! I'll invite them here then. " Tha man said as he push a button on the wall and a door suddenly appeared.

The door burst opened an his eyes widened when he saw Louis enter from outside.

Louis and the others is still trying to find Mikael, running in the hallway. He stopped when a door suddenly appeared. They looked at each other and Sal kicked the door opened.

Louis entered and saw Mikael chained. He stopped and looked at the man sitting drinking tea. Frid looked at them happily.

" At last, you came! Come come come, I'll let you see something good. " He said with a mad look in his eyes. He raised his right hand and a black haze surrounded them. Louis looked at Mikael who was also surrounded and found that he was also looking at him. He smiled encouragingly and the haze completely surrounds them.

In the black haze, Louis was alone. He saw Frid appearing from the side and looked at him guardedly. Frid laughed at him.

" I wanted to see for a long time ago. "Frid started, he walked near him and circled him. Louis frowned at him and gripped his bag.

"Louis is my dream ah. Since Mikael saw you, his feelings overflowed to me.. it's a really good feeling. " Intoxicated, Frid said as he stared at him intently. Louis felt uncomfortable from his gaze and looked away.

' What feelings did Mikael felt? This means that he's the controller, all the blocked emotions will go to him' Louis thought as he find a way to escape this black haze.

" Say, how about you be with me instead? "

" Huh? " Louis was dumbfounded at what Frid said and looked at him stupidly.

Frid looked like what he said makes sense, smiled gently and nodded.

" Be with me. " He said again and held Louis's neck. Like if he refused, he will snapped his neck the next second. He was about to respond when the black haze disappeared and Frid looked disappointedly at Mikael who was raging in anger.

" Don't touch him! " He tried to remove the chains but it's useless. Frid looked at him amusedly after seeing him so angry and tightened his hold on Louis's neck.

Louis felt suffocated and gasped. He looked at Mikael and the others who was suddenly in a locked cage. They kicked, punched and shouted to him.

" A corruption and a curse was put on you. You will hate this world and you won't feel love. I will have those feelings while you suffer in pain ah " Frid happily said to Mikael.

Mikael's eyes glowed in anger at what he heard. Now he knew why he suffered, it's all this guys plans. He's just a pawn in his plans.

Louis felt sad for him and slowly get the knife in his backpack. He stabbed Frid in his heart. Frid was shocked that his prey can still move and cough out blood.

He looked at Louis and gently smiled at him. He touched his chest with his other hand.

" I love you ah " He said as he penetrated his chest.

The others was shocked at what happened and shouted, " Louis!! "

Frid crushed Louis's heart and grinned evilly at Mikael and the others. Louis cough blood and looked at Frid. He smiled as blood flows at his lips making it look redder and like an angel on the verge of being fallen, he gently hold Frid's arm that was still in his chest.

"An Angeli can heal..."Before he finished, Frid laughed at him and looked at him like a fool.

Louis doesn't mind and continue to smile calmly at him. His calm gaze and composure somehow make Frid feel like something is wrong and tried to retrieve his arm but he was too late. Starting from his arms, decay forms and flows through his body until he was only ashes left. It happened too fast and everyone was shocked. When they snapped, they only saw Louis falling and before anyone could react. They saw Mikael catch his falling figure.

His restrains was destroyed when Frid died and he immediately came to Louis's side after seeing him fall. This makes him panic and scared. Nothing would be able to stop his feelings now, he won't deny it again. He loves this man.

After seeing him being hurt by Frid, he was almost going crazy. Still, he hopes that he's not too late and quickly put an antidote to heal his injuries. But why is he still so pale? Still cold?

The small bottle fell down on the floor making a distinct sound that wakes everyone of the truth. Louis is gone.

Riel cried and punched the ground, frustrated at his weak self. Everyone shed tears for the kind-hearted young man who risk his life to save them. But they didn't know the pain Mikael is feeling right now.

Mikael blankly looked at the man in his arms. The man is beautiful and always smiling, he looks happy even in the end of his life. He would always take him out to see the world. He likes sweets especially chocolates. He would always want to spoil cute kids. And.. and...

Mikael gasped and felt like he was drowning, the pain comes from his chest. It was almost like his heart was being ripped apart.

[ What...is this? ] He thought as tears flows from his cheek and the pain worsens everytime he breathe. He carefully caress the man's cheek, his lips and his closed eyes which will never look at him again. This man is his most important person.

[ So why? ]

His vision blurred from the tears and he sobbed. He knows the answer but he can't accept it. He buried his head into the man's shoulder like he did when he was a kid. He wished he could turn back time. He inhales to somehow lessen the pain but it only got worse. He smiled as tears flows from his eyes and kiss the man's forehead.

" I love you... Louis..."

A massive power erupted from Mikael's body. Riel and others noticed then paled when they saw him. His eyes turned golden and his eyes flashed in pain. If this world didn't have him, what use is it for? Why is he even alive?

This world hates him. It should just begone..

"Don't hurt him! " Riel shouted. Mikael snapped from his trance and stare at Louis, he stand up carrying him and leave them.

Since then, they never saw them again.

A man gasped and opens his eyes, crazed and full of hate for the world. He closed his eyes to suppressed it and opens them again, a calm gaze look into the darkness. His golden eyes shined through and thought of what happened to this world. He didn't expect that the system he created would go find him after collecting almost all of his beloved's soul fragments. However...

He grits his teeth in frustration, although the world was save, his lover died in his arms. The curse is too strong and although he can endure the hate of the world for him, he can't bear not to be with his lover. He can't take his lover dying in his arms, he'll go crazy.

He tried to calm his self and found that the system is going to one of the world he has gone through, it seems that the system is trying to remove the curse after accumulating energies of the worlds. Then, he will cooperate.

The man narrowed his eyes and close his eyes. My beloved, we will meet again.
