Òkúdù [June] is a climax cum didactic play which centres on social evils. In this great book, falsehood and arbitrary use of power were condemned.

The play is basically reformed to cut-across happenings in underdeveloped and developed societies.

JUNE (Òkúdù, A Play)

Team Asaba resettles in a parking spot adjacent to the major road. Tension broadens like pigments on their individual faces. They conversed as follows: 


PATRICK: (gesticulates)..... Lemode! Lemode!! Lemode!!! 


JOY: These officers really tear us widely apart. I was posted to Abia state. So sad! 


ABDULLAH: Same here, Joy. That's not worth ruminating over. 


ABISOLA: (Looking tender).... As for me, Lemode is the way forward. 


PATRICK: Great! What's the next line of action? 


ABISOLA: Nothing more than parting or what else do you think? 


JOY: I have a suggestion if you three won't mind hearing. 


JOY: We all should exchange contacts and save them in our diaries. That will enhance communication, methinks.
