Chapter 3 - The party

7pm : Outside Viveria's house.

Daniel waiting for her in his car, wearing a white formal shirt and blue denim along with a watch. For Daniel it's important how he presents himself and what's more important is that he hates being late.

Viveria giving finishing touches to her hair, taking out the fringes and brushing up the pony tail. She does a final check in the mirror and goes to grab her sneakers.

Viveria 's phone buzzing: DANIEL calling....

Viveria rushes through the stairs, trips twice and then comes out of her apartment in a frenzy way. Sitting in the passenger's seat and tucking up the seatbelt, she looks at Daniel who is pretty annoyed by now.

Daniel: You could have simply come tomorrow morning?? Why did you even tell me to pick you up at 7?

Viveria : Sorry Dan, I was just checking stuff , you know how I feel about leaving things half way done...

Daniel's car speaker starts ringing: Incoming call Dew ..

Dew: Guys, come fast, I already got Mellisa hooked up on me, the party has already begun. Hurrryy up!( Dew screaming like a child)

Daniel disconnecting the call and simply getting more agitated!

Daniel : Why did I even give him my number? Remind me again?

Turning towards Viveria , he found her lost in thoughts.

Daniel: Hey, what's wrong , Vive, you ok?

Viveria: taking a pause, Dan do you think we should go to the party ? I'm suddenly having this weird vibe that something horrible is gonna happen, let's leave it, let's not go Dan.

Daniel : taking a deep breath " Vive, it's nothing, you are just nervous its gonna be fine. And in case anything goes wrong I and Dew will be there , so don't worry ok? Let's go.

Meanwhile at Xavier's house ..

Xavier: Welcome everyone to the coolest party in town, I'm your favorite Xavier Derozio , the one and only at your service. ( girls screaming wildly). So, free booze, free room ( you know exactly what for I mean) , loads of music and let the party Beginnn...

Xavier got down from the balcony and went back to his room, the noise always helped him overcome the deep thoughts which create havoc on him, however, he was not gonna let anything ruin today's party. After all he is rich right. It's exactly what rich people should do isn't it?

Daniel and Viveria entered through the door and a half naked guy was about to bump into them when Daniel smoothly pushed the guy aside. God he hated such parties but then he knew how important it was for Viveria. More importantly he knew exactly how much of a jerk Xavier is.

Viveria pushing through the crowd towards the bar, she knew that's the only place she would find Dew.

Dew getting down from the bar counter and engulfing Viveria in a warm hug.

Dew: Vivvvvvv, hiiiiiiiiii....

Viveria: So where's your Mellisa?? Left you for another guy?

Dew : Is that even a choice? Of course no. Is there anyone who can resist the irresistible me??

Viveria : If I had not known you well, I would have definitely concluded that you are a chauvinistic sex addict. But anyways , I wanted to know did he come ?

Dew: Who? Daniel? Wasn't he supposed to come with you?? Suddenly noticing Viveria' s outfit and giving her a horrifying look.

Dew: What is wrong with you Viv, it's a party not a family get together, I told you to wear the strapless dress you silly girl. Xavier will never notice you.

Viveria: Of course Daniel came with me, I was asking about Xavier, you fool and what's even wrong with my dress? It's super comfy and I look cute.

Dew ( giving a sigh) : Yeah, it's a party filled with booze and your aim is not to look sexy and hot but to look cute. GREATTT. FYI, Xavier hasn't come down yet but he will soon.

Daniel : Yeah, looking cute is not a crime you know that or is you brain still stuck in your pants?

Dew: And here I was missing the sarcastic bitch. Anyways you should have stopped Viv from wearing this, it wont leave an impression, you are a guy you know it right?

Daniel : Yes, and I also know that she doesn't need to leave an impression just for a guy who is never even gonna care.

Viveria realizing the incoming of an argument... : Guys I'm still here , in person, let's relax ok, I have already worn what I wanted to and who even told you Dew that I want to get noticed. I'm happy being invisible to my crush. Isn't that what it means to have a crush?

Just then, Xavier coming down to the party and noticing a girl wearing a pony tail and a top looking absolutely a misfit and also surrounded by two guys. Xavier realizing soon enough that there is only one girl who it can be. Miss topper, Miss goody too shoes and Miss stupid. It had got to be Viveria!

Ignoring her he was just about to go the other way when he heard a girl screaming. Turing around he knew he now had to intervene!

Rosie was the one who had screamed, she was drenched in red wine on her perfectly beautiful white short dress with lace, looking as if she was going to murder Viveria.

Viveria: Hey, Rosie , I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to drop the wine. It was an accident. Here take my napkin, I'll help you clean up.

As Viveria was about to help Rosie, Rosie caught her hand and twisted it.

Rosie: Who the fuck invited this low class moron to this exclusive party? How are you throw wine on my dress?? Accident ? HUH!! IT WAS A PLANNNN.

Daniel pushing Rosie aside and pulling Viveria back : Can't you talk without hurting others both with your filthy mouth and your physical abuse? I always knew your comprehension skills were zero, never knew you were simply dumb. It was an accident. We all saw it. Now stop creating a scene.

Dew: Rosie, you shouldn't be so mean you know someday you are gonna be totally screwed. It was an accident. I and Dan saw it. Why did you have to go overboard and twist Viveria' s wrist. It's abuse dude.

Rosie: Oh ! Shut the fuck up both of you.... looking dangerously towards Viveria, you always have your knights don't you? Always wanna be the goody girl who gets it all.... I'll show you...

Just as Rosie picked up another glass of wine throwing it towards Viveria. A guy wearing a black T-shirt stepped in, his shirt was drenched in wine.

It was Xavier!
