Chapter Three

The entire group of teenagers were already seated in the dining area, eating quietly. A short woman with short hair was watching them in the hallway to make sure everything was well and the children were eating their lunch happily. She spotted a name tag with the name Stephen on it on her chest. To check on everyone, she visited practically every table. Soon, she arrived at Hadizah's table, which was next to the counter. The three girls were deeply engaged in their conversations. Miss Stephen lowered her voice and said, "Hmm hmm," which caused the females to turn to face their supervisor. Belle was only looking at her when Tina and Hadizah said, "Good morning, Miss Stephen." Miss Stephen did not immediately respond to them, but when a minute had passed with no sign of her, she grinned. "I see Cat took your tongue because you didn't greet me."Do you remember me today? Miss Stephen enquired while examining their meals. "I believe we merely..." Tina was interrupted by Miss Stephen before she could continue her sentence. She looked at Belle and said, "I'm not talking about you but her."

Miss Stephen received a glare from Belle, who said, "Ma'am, I thought my friend greeted you. I thought I'd keep my greetings until you came to our class this morning," she replied slowly, her smile falling short of her face.

Miss Stephen simply turned her head away, as if Belle were unimportant. "What is it you're having, Hadizah?" "What does it resemble?" Hadizah enquired while putting a salad spoon in her mouth. Miss Stephen retorted, "That looks like a leaf to me; the last time I checked, goats do eat that." Hadizah wore a sour expression because she disapproved of how Miss Stephen ruined her breakfast.

She raised the glass in front of her and said, "This is a smoothie, and it's called a salad." She then pointed to the plate in front of her with her spoon.

"What are you eating, and why?" Miss Stephen continued to be perplexed as to why she was eating that.

"I visited an inflammatory this morning, and they advised me to lose some weight because I'm gaining weight." Hadizah clarified. "But it appears as though you have shed some weight. And in order to be able to use a sniper rifle, you need to eat well", she said. Hadizah protested that she was determined to lose some weight, saying, "That deals with the brain." As she turned to leave for the next table, Miss Stephen remarked, "I noticed your companion is obsessed with her weight. Tina, good job on switching your major to hacking. Since you are young, I imply that you are proficient with computers. I encourage your pals to improve their grades". She waved them off and walked up to the table adjacent to the several boys who were seated there. Belle said, "I don't like her," with a look of disgust on her face. She drank the milk from her cup while carrying it in her mouth. Hadizah and Tina both grinned. A stylish young woman wearing a black dress, bag, and heels accessories with a black sunshade. She untucked her hair. Everyone rose to their feet to welcome her as she entered. Everyone greeted Her Highness, "Good morning."

They all said as she waved her hand for everyone to have a seat while grinning at them. "I'm glad my children are eating healthily. I hope the kitchen is taking good care of you", she said. They all echoed, "Yes, ma'am." Because Sonia is an eyesore, not all of the teenagers like having her as the head of the island in their midst. But as part of their rule, they are all required to seem pleasant in front of her. You must always appear joyful wherever you encounter "her Highness."

"I can see the shine on your entire face. I'm glad the kitchen is providing my kids wholesome meals. I sincerely appreciate it. And as compensation, I'll increase your pay", she added. She left the doorway and went into the hallway. She quickly approached the counter to look at their meal. "I sincerely appreciate you looking after my kids while I'm away. I am going to increase your salaries as a result", she said. To express their gratitude to her, everyone in the hallway bent their heads. She motioned for the people not to disturb themselves. Then, her look gradually changed from one of joy to one of solemnity. "I heard that many of them are deceased for one reason or another, so it's incredibly distressing that only a small number of them are left. I apologize for it. I'm aware that you lost your sister and brother, but I don't want that to have any impact on you. Avoid being connected to anything or anyone as you can suffer harm if they die. Nothing lasts forever, so leave", she comforted them. Teenagers who lost their buddies recall the happy times and the sorrow they experienced. However, it is a joyful day. "According to Sir Sam, all of you are proficient in your majors. Your instructors have been working you to the bone. Your first mission will be assigned to you shortly. I mean, how many of you are going to complete your first mission?" She grabbed a glass of water and drained it after gesturing as though she needed permission to do so. She uttered "Hmm hmm" to clear her throat so she could continue speaking. "Since everyone of you will participate in the mission and you all must pass, I want you guys to put up twice as much effort. You all already know what will happen if you don't do that. You will first be divided into various groups. Each member of the group will need to train with the others. And a teacher to keep an eye on the class." She remained silent for two minutes as she observed the children's behavior. She was pleased that they had been taught how to mask their emotion, because the kids all seemed unconcerned. "That's all I've got for today. No queries will be answered by me today. Your supervisor will communicate with you about your group and any other information you require in two days. I'm grateful, and I hope you enjoy your breakfast." Before leaving, she waved her hand for the head of the kitchen to immediately notice her. As she was leaving, every pupil bowed their heads.
