A boy that couldn't be any older than 10 with silver-black hair stretching down his back, pearlescent eyes, and a small stature standing only 4'3" found himself in the middle of what seems to be a forest with nothing but the clothes on his back to aid in his travels, he knew nothing of the world he was in but despite this he was ecstatic, thinking back he couldn't remember anything of his previous life only a name… Lumas, he didn't know if that was the name from his previous life or his current one but that didn't matter instinctively he reached up to his ears only to find they haven't changed

Then he checked for horns, a tail, scales… anything that could prove that he wasn't human but much to his displeasure that aspect hasn't changed alth ough slightly down Lumas shook the depressing thoughts from his mind as he began to check his surroundings, he found that he was eerily calm he couldn't place his finger on why but if he had to guess it would have to do with his reincarnation(?)

Dense trees completely surrounded Lumas, everything seemed full of life the trees seemed to glisten in the sunlight following his gut Lumas began to trek through the dense trees looking for anything that could catch his interest, Luckily that didn't take long; Lumas was currently standing over a vein of metal, what metal Lumas didn't know nor did he know why he was just staring at it, sadly he didn't have anyway to mine it so he eventually decided to leave it alone

As he was working his way through the forest Lumas began playing around with the weird 'liquid' running through his body he could sense a separate space in his mind that acts as a container for this liquid, willing it to form above his hand he nearly jumped when a sheet of pitch black formed above his hand, immediately he could sense what seemed to be a small room completely empty on the other side of the darkness

A smirk formed on his face as he yelled

"ITS FUCKING MAGIC"

Birds shot from the trees quickly dispersing due to Lumas' shout, Unknown to him the birds weren't the only thing that heard his shout...

=========================================

A young woman with jade hair and eyes, long pointed ears, and what seems to be a small permanent frown decorating her face was currently angrily mumbling to herself every step she took through the forest seemed confident as if she was relying on the forest to guide her to her destination

"ITS FUCKING MAGIC"

Just as she sensed the mana in the surroundings begin drifting to one spot she heard a childish shout, curious as to why there is a child all the way out here she darted towards the shout the trees seemingly moving out of her path, it didn't take long for a young boy to reach her gaze just as she was about to speak out to the boy she heard a soft mutter

"Reveal the origin, Reduce all to the beginning"

Hearing the chant she was more than curious, it reminded her of the stories her father used to tell her about the time before the gods descended… a time when magic was more...primeval, violent, rare… She knew that the length and words used greatly affected how a spell will reveal itself

She was shocked when she saw the green and white spark began coating the boy slowly eating away at his flesh she hurriedly casted a spell

"Glacia heed my call, Douse the world in your tears,"

Only chanting the first two lines a small wave shot from her hand submerging the body of the boy and extinguishing the flame like sparks covering his body, as she approached the boy she saw that his right arm was charred black from whatever Magic he used crouching down she began to inspect his body and wasn't surprised to find that entered a state similar to Mind Down(1)

Poking and prodding various spots on his body looking for any sign of internal damage, as her slender finger landed in the center of his chest she felt a plethora of mana condensed in the center of his chest, the energy seemed like an bottomless ocean calmly circulating in the small area of his chest about the size of a fist

Although the woman was beyond curious about this phenomenon, she knew that the boy's health took priority as she lifted the boy up the tattered rags that were the remains of his shirt crumpled revealing a shield with a 6 pointed star and a black strip, each leg(?) of the star was split between white and black, and a winged snake coiled around the coat of arms(?) seemingly protecting the abundant amount of illegible symbols

For better or worse the woman didn't notice the god's blessing and began heading to the center of the world… Oriaro

=========================================

2 days have passed and the boy had shown no signs of waking, the woman was slowly becoming worried she knew that the boy was heading to Oriaro to become an adventurer the blessing on his back alongside how close he was to the dungeon city only cemented this into her mind… while she was more than curious about the boys status she didn't have any vials of status thief(2) to check, and even if she did she probably wouldn't without some form of approval just having status thief was a crime although one that is generally overlooked

Currently she is at the Loki Manor, Many of her fellow adventures looked at her like she grew a second head as she walked in with the young boy in her arms asking when she had a kid but a good snack with her trusty staff quickly shut them up, as for the boy he had healed nicely except for the fact the the flame-like sparks from his magic left a series of black scars stretching up his arm ending at the shoulder but yet spreading to his back and chest

The 'encroachment' stopped after reaching as far as it had, leaving only a throned vine like scars coiling up the boy's arm, Loki at first was ecstatic seeing the boy she didn't know why but something within was whispering her to take this boy into her Familia… She had a fellow god whose divinity lies in death to peer into his soul

"He's normal, His soul is a slight grey with hints of white and black like most mortals the size of its vessel is smaller then most… This boy is as normal as it comes"

That's all he had to say but yet it didn't quench Loki's curiosity

"Ohhh~ Riveria~"

The woman who had accompanied Lumas looked up meeting her goddess' red eyes and with a flat tone she spoke

"What?"

Leaning into Riveria with a mischievous smile she softly spoke

"You don't happen to… have a vial of status thief do you?~"

With a sigh Riveria reached into her robe pulling out a vial of a murky brown liquid before pulling out the cork and letting a drop fall upon the boys back

Loki was slightly depressed when the symbols; Language of the gods, began moving around without a pattern until they made up his status… Seeing nothing but low stats she was curious as to why she felt like this boy was special but as her eyes reached the Skills she nearly coughed blood and her eyes threatened to leave their sockets… Level 1 WITH NOT ONLY A SKILL BUT A DEVELOPMENTAL SKILL AND MAGIC

Loki took a step back as she breathed in a cold breath, something like this was unseen, his skill 'Item Box' was something she never heard of, Blacksmith was fairly common so she didn't mind it however his Magic… she couldn't even begin to guess what they could do, well she could but that isn't fun… as she saw 'Magic Mimic' Loki nearly dropped to the ground if her guess was right this boy… He was destined to be a hero...

"Genesis spark… was that… I has to be…"

Loki looked over to the mumbling Riveria curious as to what was going on in the Elf mind Loki knocked twice on her head

"What are you thinking about over there?"

With a slight frown as she fixed her hair Riveria spoke

"Genesis spark, The Magic that left these" Tracing her finger along the vine like scars running along the boys arm "I believe it is lost magic, Magic from before the gods descended… the chant was something like 'Reveal the origin, Reduce all to the beginning'"

As she heard the chant, Loki's soul trembled, 'this… this magic… it was the bane of gods… It shouldn't have survived the purge back then…' as she looked at the boy Riveria spoke once again

"There is one thing I don't understand, in the center of his chest there a considerable amount of condensed mana, far more than what anyone of the races should be able to hold"

The more she learns the more she fears the boy if she is right this boy will be hunted by every god, adventurer, bandit… anyone that wants the pinnacle of alchemy… the Philosopher's Stone… what confused Loki was that she should be able to sense the stone especially if it is as powerful as the other one that was made a few hundred years ago… thinking about the sacrifices needed caused Loki to shudder and that one was crudely thrown together with only 10000 poor souls, If she couldn't sense this one how many people died in the process, then she remembered when the first god died in the lower world in the second biggest country on this continent… and the biggest failure of the gods… Dragon Valley, previously known as Freycliff… What happened there has been lost with time not even the majority of gods know what went down there but the blood red pillar shooting into the sky was burned into their eyes as a day they won't forget

Riveria watched Loki walk out the room shoulders slumped and a deep face, after the door closed Riveria snapped her head to the side to find the boy sitting up staring at her curiously yet he had a bit of caution

"Who are you? Where are we? How did you find me?"

Slightly shocked at the lack of her noticing him move and the flurry of questions she sat silent for a second trying to gather her thoughts, but Lumas didn't give her a chance

"Why did you check my status?"

Riveria twitched at this

"You are in Oriaro, at the Loki Manor... I am Riveria as for why we checked your status" … "We were hoping to figure out your identity through your blessing…"

Lumas narrowed his eyes staring at the woman before letting loose a sigh as a childish grin came to his face sticking out his hand he spoke

"Hiya, Lumas nice to meet you Rive-Rivera?"

Tilting his head slightly causing Riveria to let out a soft chuckle only looking at his hand

"Riveria, however would you mind answer some questions?"

Shrugging his shoulders Lumas began looking over his arm with a slight hint of fear in his eyes, seeing this Riveria spoke

"Do you know how you learned that magic?"

Lumas flinched

"..."

"How about why you were out in the forest"

"Woke up there"

Riveria watched the boy her eyes narrowed

"Where were you coming from?"

"I don't know"

Seeing that Lumas wasn't lying Riveria slightly relaxed

"What do you remember?"

Fear appeared on Lumas' face

"Magic…"

Realizing that the spell might have caused some sort of trauma Riveria let off for now, if he wanted to speak he would of… she will slowly learn more…

"If you want I can teach you how to control your magic"

Lumas quickly looked up awe clear of his face drowning out the fear

"However I would need for you to use it again so I can see"

Lumas gulped before shakily nodding

"Reveal the Or-"

Riveria jumped up waving her hands

"No no not here… Follow me"

Lumas felt a small backlash from canceling the chant, he guessed it would be worse if he added more mana, as they walked through the halls Lumas passed by many adventures his eyes looking at every piece of their gear scrutinizing some other offering just a glance Riveria quickly noticed this but didn't speak up however she noticed one of her colleagues up ahead with a smile on her face she waved

"Oh hey Riveria, How you doing kid?"

Lumas didn't answer he was too busy looking over the spear, his focus solely set on the spear looking at the small grooves from the hammer strikes, the way the blade was sharpened, how the weight was distributed the man-child didn't say anything only watched the boy scrutinize his weapon a proud smile on his face
