As Lumas looked over the lush trees that filled The Loki estate he felt a sense of belonging, the mana that was once thin and drawn out was now nearly in a fluid state from its previous gaseous one, It swirled around him brushing against his skin he could feel how happy it was… with a soft smile he looked out into the horizon to find a tree piercing the heavens, its branches stretching out in every direction filling the sky with its golden veined leaves
It was an interesting sight seeing the light from the moon penetrating through the mess of leaves, it seemed unimpeded as if the tree itself allowed the light through, the branches seemed to give of a spectrum of colored brilliance lighting up the night sky, an unnaturally calm atmosphere fill Oriaro as everyone looked up at the tree in awe
However there were some who sneered at the sight, many gods remembered this tree, The Tree of Life or as the elves call it Yggdrasil seeing that the tree was back brought them to their knees in anger… no more shall they be the ones looking down on the mortals, some of the gods with a divinity towards nature could feel the warmth that Yggdrasil offered the planet like a mother tending to its youth, Elves all across the world were filled with a sense of love and care that they've only heard in stories
Some of the rather eager thought how use this to line their pockets, however none of them mattered the expedition was merely 2 days away and it was too late to cancel, Something Loki would never do is purposely lose face… the nearly 20 million Valis invested into the expedition is worthless next to the view of the people
An emergency denatus was called, Loki made it clear that if she doesn't return before they have to leave, that they should continue into the dungeon… Loki has already spoke to Hephaestus about the expedition so there will be no confusion
Dressing in her best dress, A silk dress made from a drop from a monster in the deep floors that seemed to glisten at the slightest bit of light, it was a deep red matching her hair which with Susan's help was elegantly put up, Susan secretly slapped a charm on Loki as she went out the door causing the rather rambunctious goddess to radiate beauty, Rubbing her rump where Susan gave her a 'Love Tap' Loki went out the door her destination… The Tower of Babel…
Somewhere in the Tower of Babel Hephaestus was stuck between 3 dresses, it wasn't often she dressed up but ever since Lumas 'adopted' her flame she felt more… girly?... it frustrates her to no end, she was never this indecisive, and since when did she start wearing such gaudy dresses… Hephaestus slumped into her chair with a sigh as she looked out the window in her office, as she looked over the city filled to the brim with plant life she had to swallow another sigh, looking down at her spot covered clothes she frowned
With the help of Tsubaki Hephaestus finally chose a dress nearly half an hour later, letting her now shoulder length hair down from the ponytail it was once it she gave it a few scrunches as she looked in the mirror, tracing her once cursed eye with ear finger feeling the slightly lifted runes(?) she turned to leave her destination… the denatus…
Just as she was about to pass the large and heavy metal doors to the room that holds the denatus she meet Loki who seemed to radiate confidence while a sense of beauty surrounded her just as it does Freya, Hephaestus was slightly shocked but with everything that has happened her mind was focused on other things, Waving to the trickster goddess they entered the Denatus with soft smiles adorning their faces
=========================================
Lumas was upset… no he was more than upset he was mad… How dare they invade his sanctum, all his tools were misplaced, his ore that he left out was scattered about, his forge was reduced to rubble, and his workbench was covered in filth… His mouth was violently twitching as he entertained the thought of burning all the invaders to ash but as he released a sigh he reached to his side grabbing a pair of hedge trimmers and began cutting down the infestation of vines that had worked their way into his workshop
The amount of peace Lumas felt was relaxing, as he looked over his now spotless workshop with a smile he manifested a glass of chilled golden apple juice from his 'Item Box' dropping a straw into his drink he went outside and lounged in a chair as he took in the sight of the majestic tree filling the horizon, He couldn't help but think how well he truly has it, he could still be in that forest fending for himself but he has found a place where he feels welcome but even with all this comfort he could feel that things were going to derailed soon it was like a whisper in the back of his mind telling him he was too weak, too naive, too relaxed…
"My lord?"
Looking to the side to find Sebas looking 20 years younger his once graying hair was gone leaving a slightly dirty blonde "Mhm? What is it Sebas?"
Refilling Lumas' drink Sebas spoke "Although I wish not to trouble you, I ask that you allow Susan and I to accompany you during the expedition into the dungeon"
Lumas sank into thought before nodding "Your free to come if you wish, I'm very curious how you two will fare in the dungeon… I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited, just the thought of delving into the unknown causes my blood to boil, Fights so difficult I'm pushed to my limits with every fight…" taking a sip of his juice Lumas continued "I would like to see my grandchildren one day, maybe become an awesome cousin-" Sebas quickly spoke "But my lord you have no fami-" he was cut short by Lumas shaking his head "Sebas your wrong, You and Susan are my family… Don't tell Susan but your like the mysterious uncle that knows everything but doesn't spill a drop"
Sebas let out a chuckle as he bowed "As you wish my lord" as he lifted his head he heard steps approaching them, turning his head he found Susan escorting Ais, Tapping on Lumas' chair Sebas straightened his back as he let his hands slide behind his back
"Since we are all here, there is something I wish to get off my chest…" Looking over the trio a wild grin rose to Lumas' face "Once we enter the dungeon we won't be holding back, we will let our names ring through Oriaro… No more will Ottar hold the title of the strongest in Oriaro, We will make waves and will have to manage the aftermath but after the expedition we should have enough to get started on the plans I have drawn up… Let's flip Oriaro on its head"
(A/N: I lied next chap is the beginning of the expedition... bite me...)
