I am...

Susan was intently eyeing Oblivion looking for any minute piece of debris that could mar the blades beautiful sheen, Lumas could only chuckle seeing her fawn over Oblivion like it was some sort of legendary treasure, Ais was happily humming at his side as she used a finger to move a few strands of hair behind her ear, seeing Lumas looking over her with a smile from the corner of her eye brought a smile to her face as she returned her attention to Ventus wiping down the blade for the final time before returning it to its sheath

Hopping up to her feet ignoring the buzzing surroundings she twirled on her heel before bending over nearly touching noses with Lumas

"*Sniff Sniff*" Ais' nose scrunched up causing a flash of panic to appear on Lumas face as he lifted his arm giving it a few sniffs, "*Pfft*" Ais couldn't hold in the laugh, Seeing the mischievous glint in Ais' eyes Lumas shot from his seat tackling Ais

As the two rolled around in the dirt Susan placed Oblivion to the side as she stood up brushing the dust off her clothes… The day continued normally aside from the occasional blacksmith coming up to Lumas to ask various questions which he happily answered with non-answers as he avoided giving out information on his skills

As what they could only assume as night approached thanks to their bodily clock(?) Lumas with Ais and Susan retired to their tent as Sebas left with Riveria, The duo have been getting awfully close recently but have done well to hide it, Ever since Sebas regained his humanity and was 'reborn' he began to subtly pursue the Elven beauty although he seemed to be lacking when it came to actually pursuing her, despite this Riveria seemed to enjoy the small things Sebas would go out of his way to do for her

Finn couldn't help but sigh as he watched the Familia grow. He really felt like an old man, Ais done ran off and found a boy while the ever strict Riveria has her sights set… However Bete has proved to be an even worse headache than before, it seems he took Ais' actions to heart… While Finn could see that Ais was wrong in leading Bete on he also realized that Bete is a fool… Ais had turned him down… no ignored him more times then Finn could count yet Bete couldn't understand…

Finishing his glass Finn turned toward Gareth tipping the glass with his finger "I think we should push to the 27th floor, and challenge Amphisbaena as soon as possible…" Finn paused as he began running numbers before continuing "If we manage to reach the 37th floor within the week we should have a few days to rest before Udealus fully reforms…"

Gareth nodded as he looked out the flap of the tent overlooking the quiet atmosphere, seemingly ignoring the sounds of battle in the distance "Sounds like a plan, we've been making good distance so far… If we keep this momentum we may have enough supplies to step foot on the 59th floor"

Hearing this Finn slid a book across the table with a smile, curious Gareth looked at the book to find it was the manifest for the expeditions supplies

"At this rate we will definitely have the supplies to reach the 59th floor…" Finn paused as he looked towards his thumb, his expression cramping as he continued "...However I believe that we will face some hardships on the way" as Finn finished he called out for the watch to switch before bidding Gareth goodnight and retiring to his tent

=========================================

A small creature with bark-like skin and dark beady amber-like eyes looked around in a bright expanse of mana, It looked around curiously like a child new to the world as it played with the wisps of mana, in this seemingly infinite well of mana a single man was hunched over a table viciously scribbling on a piece of paper as he rambled occasionally cackling as his ramblings grew louder before returning to mumbles only for it to repeat, the man had unkempt hair and loosely thrown on robes

The man swatted away various wisps of mana in annoyance before straightening his back causing loud pops and cracks to sound out as he stood up and stretched, the man whistled causing the small treant like creature to hurry over grabbing onto the hem of the man's robes before climbing up to his shoulder, the man pulled out a small pill like amber and gave it to the small treant creature who snatched it from his hands and shoved it into its mouth before showing a wide smile and hugging the man's cheek

The mana ramblings stopped as he used a finger to pat the small creatures head as he whispered "What am I going to do with you…" before returning to his seemingly nonsensical ramblings
