AUNT SOFIA

Next day I stood up and started again for the market. I stood again in front of the café. Abdul Salaam looked at me. I indicated him with my movements to meet in the street again. He nodded his head. I went to the same street. He appeared after 2 minutes. I started "Can I ask you a question?" he shook his in acceptance. I said "are you the son of Sofia Ahmed and is your name Abdul Salaam?" he was shocked "how do you know my and my mom's name?" he asked. I gave him the nametag and said "I know your name by this thing. But your mom's name was told me by my maa, Sobia Ahmed." He started scratching his head and said, "I've heard this name before." After 10 second she replied in excitement "she is the sister of my mom! True?" I replied yes. He hugged me. He said "come I will take you to my mom." I started walking but I stopped. I said "wait. I'm coming in 10 minutes." I shot away to my house and knocked the door. Maa opened it. I went inside and asked permission from her. She said "yes, yes sure. But take this bouquet and this letter to her." I took the flowers and the letter. I joined my cousin standing in the street waiting. He looked at the flowers and said "whoa. What's that for? For mom?" I nodded. He smiled and started to walk. We started walk n talk till we reached his house. It was not far away from my house. He knocked the door and a beautiful tall lady opened the door. We entered the house. I greeted her. She was gazing at me. She took my cousin a bit far away from me and asked something in his ear. He said something by pointing at me. She looked at me 2 to 3 times during the conversation. Then she started gazing at me again and slowly walked towards me and just stood in front of me. I was confused. She was gazing at me like I was his lost son. I brought my hands, with the bouquet on them, in front of her. She quickly hugged me and kissed me on my cheeks so many times. She was dripping tears of happiness. She took the bouquet from me and took me with her in the living room where my cousin was having the conversation with aunt.
