A CONVERSATION

In the room fire was burning in the fire place. She sat on the chair and pointed another chair in front of her. I sat on it. My cousin sat beside her mom on the floor. She said "so how are you Farad? And how is your mom?" I replied "we both are very well. How about your aunt? Hope you are also very fine." She smiled and replied "very well. Thankyou. Your mom and I talked using letters and I bet she would have sent a letter this time as well. So where it is? And oh! What would you like to eat?" I handed over the letter with a huge smile and said "you sisters understand each other very well. And no thanks. I don't need anything." She smiled and said "Salaam give your cousin some company while I get something to eat." "ok." He replied. As soon as aunt Sofia went in the kitchen, Salaam stood up and went in his room. He reappeared after 1 minute with a board game called carom. He taught me how to play. While he was teaching me, aunt came with a tray having 1 plate full of fruits i.e. apple and mangoes and a jug of juice. I ate a little but it filled up my small tummy. It was real delicious. Some apples slices were very sour but other things were good. Then aunt sat back on the chair and started reading the letter while we were playing carom. After sometime I saw my aunt gazing at me. I started looking back at the carom. Then I looked again at my aunt and asked "what happened aunt?" she replied, "I was thinking about that what I should prepare for meal." Then I asked aunt that if she could allow me to leave now. She said "yes. May Allah bless you." I left the house with Abdul Salaam. On my way back to house I went with Abdul Salaam till café. Over there he made me as a special guest. He gave me a cup of tea and also sat with me to drink the tea. The manager of the café also came and I felt that he was very polite. I was wearing a scarf that's why he wasn't able to recognize me or of course he wouldn't have allowed me in café and called the police. He asked for some nice hot bread for free of cost. I thought for sometime and then asked for a bread to take home. The manager went to the kitchen and came back in 20 minutes with a big hot bread. I thanked in my heart to Allah and then the manager. He said to come again some other time whenever I want. I exited the café and hugged my cousin, and started home. I waved him from a distance and he waved back.
