The will

Stopping his self-appreciation, Sekke turned silent after hearing the apathetic voice once again.

"Vritra"

"My other half?"

"You having a multiple personality disorder?"

"We both know that's not the case."

"Good to know that we are on the same page. Also for a while now, you have been acting kinda, how do I put this nicely.... cowardly."

"....What were your original words?"

"Why are you acting like a p*ssy?"

"...If not for the situation we are in you would have been in for a sermon."

"See. Pussy-behaviour."

"You!!!.... Forget it. I am just following my personal rule of not messing with conceptual entities."

"...What conceptual entity?"

"The one that we've been hearing for a while."

"...F*ck"

"F*ck indeed, my other half. F*ck indeed."

{Are you two finished with your pointless argument?}

Vritra fell silent upon hearing the voice. He didn't want to mess with whatever it was. The two dragon gods from his world were good examples of why he shouldn't mess with conceptual entities.

"Hello there, voice in my head?" greeted Sekke.

{Salutations}

"Now can you get out of my head?" asked Sekke politely.

{I have some questions.}

"...Okay, I have some too, but you don't see me invading someone else's thoughts, do you?"

{First question. What are you?}

"..."

"Just cooperate my other half."

"*Sigh* I am a human. What about you?"

{I am the will of this world}

"..." Sekke

"..." Vritra

The dragon king and the dark lord were left speechless when they realized they had messed with someone far worse than they had imagined.

"So, Mr. Will....or is it Miss. Will?"

{I don't follow the concept of genders. Next question. What are you doing in this world? You are not from here.}

"The residents of this world kidnapped me."

{Next question. Why?}

"They wanted to take my pal from me," replied Sekke with a shrug.

{Question. What is pal?}

"...Pal means my friend; before you ask it's the dragon soul within me."

{Thank you for clarifying one of my doubts before I even asked the question. Next question. Why are you slaying so many divine beings from my world?}

"These so-called 'divine beings' are coming after my life. I am just fighting back in self-defence."

{Understandable. Next question. Can you stop resisting and killing the divine beings from my world?}

"Obviously no."

{Requst. Stop resisting and killing the divine beings from my world.}

"Not happening. I have a family to return to. Instead of asking me to stop, ask the people attacking me to stop and allow me to return. I won't retaliate unless they attack me first."

{Not possible. I cannot interfere with the people from my world directly.}

"....You literally tried to kill me just a few moments ago."

{You are not from my world. It's within the rules.}

"...Be that as it may, I cannot simply stand back. I don't want to fight and kill people, but I won't hesitate if they come running, asking for it."

{...}

"Also, they are just some fake divine shits, acting so high and mighty from borrowed divinities from these so-called Gods."

{....Topic change. New question: What is the "fake divine" matter you just mentioned?}

"You don't know?"

{No.}

"You are the will of this world, right?"

{Affirmative}

"...As far as I know, the people here formed a pact with beings they call 'gods' from another world. In exchange for the souls that come to this world, these 'gods' provide divine energy to the people here."

{...How reliable is this information?}

"Considering how relentless these individuals are in pursuit of my friend, I'd say it's pretty accurate."

{Violation of the main purpose of this world is detected.}

Suddenly the already apathetic voice in his head sounded even colder to Sekke.

"You alright there Will? Wanna get out of my head?" asked Sekke.

{Now is not a moment for you to jest.}

"...Hearing your anger, I presume you were unaware of what is going on here."

{Your presumption is correct.}

"No shit, Sherlock. How did you not know? You're supposed to be the all-knowing Will of the world, right?"

{I don't meddle in worldly affairs unless unexpected events occur. One such event included the massacre of the divine beings from my world.}

"Why are you so fixated on the divine beings?" asked Sekke.

{Divine beings are the greatest hope for any world for its development and protection against unforeseen foes.}

"Some weak 'greatest hope' your world has," replied Sekke with a smirk.

{It is you who is the anomaly.}

Hearing that Sekke's chest swelled up with pride.

"Well of course that would be. After all the dark lord is simply awesome."

{Question: What is the dark lord?}

Sekke was about to answer, but Vritra interrupted his host.

"Please don't pay attention to what he's saying; he's a delusional idiot. Mr. or Miss Will, as my other half just mentioned, we don't want to fight or harm the divine beings from your world. We just want to find a way back to our home world. Do you know of a way for that?" asked Vritra.

"Oi! Who are you calling delusional, you tentacle play dragon."

"How dare you call me that?!?!"

{Stop your pointless argument.}

The dragon king and the dark lord wanted to argue further but stopped.

{As for a way to go back to your world. You can do so through the dimensional gate through which the souls come to this world.}

Hearing that both Sekke and Vritra lit up as they finally found a clue to get back to their home.

"Great! So where is this gate?" asked Sekke, barely hiding his excitement.

{It should be near the main residence of the divine beings.}

"Alright so we just go there, give our greetings, use the gate, and go back?"

"As if those idiots will let you go that peacefully. Not after the old man from earlier threatened us."

"Hmm, so we go there, wreak havoc, make them lose their shit and then go back."

"Sounds like a plan."

The dragon king and the dark lord immediately concluded and agreed that the plan was sensible.

{What about the 'we don't want to fight or harm the divine beings from your world' thing that this dragon said earlier?} asked Will.

"We don't want to fight. What those guys want is not under our control."

{...Why do I feel that my world is under threat?}

Sekke and Vritra decided to not comment on that. They were not going to make any promises, regarding the destruction that would be caused because of their battle.

{Try to settle matters with words first. Also if possible I would like to request you to get more information regarding this 'fake divine' matter. If the purpose of this world is not being fulfilled then there will be many issues.}

"Alrighty, will try my best. Now then time to get back in action," replied Sekke with a smirk and was pumped up to fight.

"...So, where to go now?" asked Sekke.

"..."

"..."

"...Um, Will of the world?"

{Yes?}

"Directions to this dimensional gate?"

{Figure out yourself. I am not allowed to interfere in worldly affairs.}

"You told me I was different, and now you are discarding me?"

{Yes}

"..."

Sekke was left speechless at the immediate reply.

"Come on, don't be a party pooper and help me."

{Not possible}

"Why?"

{Common Sense: Why will I, the will of this world, help the person from a different world who is killing the divine beings?}

".....Why are you making a logical argument?!" argued Sekke.

"Leave it my other half, let's just get the information from them the next time we are attacked," said Vritra.

"*Sigh*, alright. It will take quite a while though," replied Sekke in a slightly dejected tone.

His shoulder slumped but suddenly his ki and mana sensing flared up making him widen his eyes in surprise.

Immediately taking a step back Sekke unsheathed Extase and blocked the incoming attack.

"Ho~, nice reaction time."

Sekke narrowed his eyes at the man who said those words.

He then looked at Extase which was being blocked by the sword of the man who attacked him and got serious.

'His sword is not being sliced by Extase....'

"You raised a flag, my other half. Also, be careful 8-10 wing angel level foe."

'Thanks for the heads up.'

"You guys are fast, was not expecting anyone of you so soon after beating the shit out of your other buddies just moments ago." taunted Sekke.

"Haha! We were not planning to attack so soon as well...but you mocked the old man, I can't hold myself back from killing you. By the way, my name's Zoro, remember the name of the one who will kill you." replied the swordsman with a smirk.

"Tough talk for someone with a small c*ck...Wait! Did you just say Zoro?!?! What the hell? Did you lose your way and come here?!" asked Sekke with a surprised look on his face.

"Huh, what the hell are you talking about? Forget it, don't have the time for that, I need to kill you before the others arrive and steal my kill."

Mana gathered in the man's sword as his sword started to glow.

Sekke simply continued to push the man back making the swordsman slightly surprised.

"Kill me? Give it your best shot, you second-rate Zoro imitator!" Sekke retorted with a smirk.

The two swordsmen gazed at each other, and soon, huge smiles appeared on both their faces as excitement filled them both.

'I will beat this asshole!!'

The two swordsmen shared the same thought and immediately distanced themselves from each other, preparing for the duel.
