How to Tame a Fairy(1)

The Mortia temple has a dark history that covered an entire chapter of the novel. Just remembering about it made her shiver.

Although "Robin The Songbird" was a fluffy romance novel with a female lead and male lead that was protected by the plot armor, it was inevitable for a story to have villains and bad guys that would get in the way of the female lead and male lead's relationship.

Mortia was the goddess of this world who created the land, sea and the sky. She gave the inhabitants of the world a place to dwell in and it was said that light magic was Mortia's gift to all the races so it could protect them from evil.

The elves who were her direct descendants were somewhat arrogant creatures due to their lineage. But they were a peaceful race who rarely gets involved in wars.

This is because they have the most number of light mages. Meaning, the most number of healers came from them and they have the strongest force that could fight against dark curses.

Braham was just like any other elf. He was proud of being a direct descendant of the goddess Mortia. He treated himself as someone who's existence was very special, almost to the point of narcissism.

Ellendise understood why he was being jealous. It isn't common for a human to be surrounded with Mortia's blessing. It was one in a thousands.

Which made her a very lucky girl and a target of jealousy by the great alchemist himself.

It was somehow both good and bad for her since she was planning to earn his favor soon.

"It doesn't matter. Mortia favors you which means you are special. Hehe, how interesting." Braham covered his barely visible lips with a hand but the smirk was already seen by her.

Ellendise politely thanked him.

"Are you going to meet a fairy?"

Ellendise didn't expect him to know. She unconsciously looked at the bag which held the essence of dew, a fairy's favorite snack.

"Yes. I'm going to meet a pretty fairy to help a friend."

It was better to be honest since Braham was the type who didn't like trickery. He was very vengeful when people wronged him so Ellendise chose not to hide anything.

Braham didn't say anything even after she left but she could feel his eyes following her. It was only when the door closed to her carriage that Ellendise was able to relax.

Braham was no joke.

Ellendise was actually a bit scared when she was talking to him. Afterall, Braham didn't like humans very much.

Ellendise comforted herself by saying that she did nothing to offend him.

Only when she had arrived at the Iris Garden on the Viscount's territory did she felt at ease.

"Both of you stay here."

"My lady, where are you going?"

"It's dangerous to go alone!"

Rachel and Jill both have worried looks on their faces.

"It's safe. I'm just going to wander around. I'll shout if I need your help."

"But.."

"My lady, I'll definitely come!"

Ellendise was satisfied with that and she stepped inside, patting her black and red dress.

She roamed around and found the hidden fountain behind a large tree.

This place was rather old but it was well kept and cleaned despite the years that had passed.

Ellendise took the essence of dew and started humming a song.

A few golden lights started to appear at the top of the fountain but Ellendise kept humming.

Leaves and branches flew until the glowing lights fused and a small creature with wings appeares infront of her, barely the size of a fist.

"Hehe, it's a human!" The fairy exclaimed giddily.

Ellendise didn't stop humming. Instead, she extended the bag with the essence of dew.

"Oh! Is this for me?! How generous!" The fairy giggled and dove inside the bag before coming out, coated with the powder.

The fairy giggled while fluttering its wings.

"This is sweet!" The fairy snatched the bag from her and hungrily gobbled up all the content.

Ellendise stopped humming once it was done.

"Hello there! It's been a while since I've seen a human!"

"Hello. "

The fairy flew around her excitedly.

"You're so pretty! For a human child that is!"

"Thank you. You're also very pretty."

The fairy giggled and landed on her shoulder, rubbing her hair together.

"You made me happy so I'm going to grant you a wish!"

Ellendise was waiting for this.

"Really? "

"Really! Are you doubting me?"

The fairy's tone fell and she suddenly stopped rubbing her hair.

"No.. But if you can grant my wish then please help my aunt. "

"I'm a fairy! I can do anything! Hihihi!" The fairy circled around her head a few times before landing on her hair.

"Is that so...? Then.. please save my aunt. A mean old maid took my aunt's pendant while she was sleeping. Ever since then, my aunt remained asleep. My wish is to retrieve the pendant for my aunt."

The fairy giggled and waved its little hands that were like flowers.

"That's easy! That's easy! Take me to the mean old maid! I'll teach her a lesson and retrieve the pendant!"

Ellendise nodded. She was a bit excited. The fairy didn't seem to know that her aunt was the same friend she made a promise with.

Well.... she would know soon enough.

"Thank you. With this, I'll be able to make my friend happy."

The fairy landed on her shoulder and tapped her cheek with its flower srms.

"I also have a friend before! But that girl got married and left! It's been so long! I wonder if she's still alive?"

"I wouldn't know but maybe you'll see her or atleast hear from her. Was she your first friend? I also made my first friend just a few weeks ago."

"Hehe, she's my first human friend! And you're the second! "

Ellendise smiled and patted her head

"Really? I'm honored. Then would you tell me your name ?"

The fairy smiled in return and her eyes glowed.
