Chapter 17 : Whatever you want.
Nichole held up a piece of purple fabric with white stripes " Can I have this for my bed Sister Qidu "? Nectar nodded and Nichole went on happily " Did you hear that? This is my mine, as in off limits ".
Jewlica walked up to her with flowers in her hands " Ica wants many, all over the walls too. Can we do that "? Nectar nodded, taking one of the blue poppies from her " Whatever you want Ica, just let me know ".
Jewlica nodded and ran off to find more flowers. She couldn't move as quickly in the grey dress that was touching the floor which is what Nectar wanted [ A lot easier to catch now ]
June held out a oak leaf to Nectar's face " Can they make the walls look like this? I want in different pretty colors ". Nectar nodded, examining the leaf in June's light brown gloves " Of course, as pretty as you want ".
June nodded and ran off to another pile of things they'd bought. Nectar sat cross legged on the fabric the servants laid out for her, refusing to let her stay on the floor as she watched the girls running around the courtyard looking for what they wanted in their room and running back to her for permission.
Meanwhile, the boys and Liam were in the store not too far from the girls looking for what they wanted in their rooms.
Mario was interested in the pieces of metal and scraps of armour and showed it Liam " Can I use this "? Liam nodded and August ran up holding out a small painting, but was pointing at the silver carved frame " I want my room to look like this? Can I "? Liam nodded, ruffling his feather soft hair " Whatever you want ".
Nathaniel popped his head out from behind a large cargo box holding a bunch of sea shells he found " I want mine to look like these, will that be possible "? Liam nodded, scratching his chin " I'll talk to Qidu about it then ".

Nectar and Liam were surprised by how quickly they'd decided on what they wanted but the hard part now was bringing the crazy ideas in their heads to life.
They went back upstairs, waiting for the servants to thoroughly clean out the rooms while the others brought up their stuff.
" Don't you think you're doing too much Qidu? Why are you even going these far for these kids "? Nectar rolled her eyes as she smiled " I think it's fun having them around and being around children makes me happy. Don't you want me to be happy Millie "?
Liam sighed as he shook his head " I dunno what I'm gonna do with you ". Nectar smiled, wrapping her hands around his arm " You're gonna do whatever makes me happy ".
Liam chuckled looking down at her white hair " What makes you think that "? Nectar rolled her eyes " Because your Millie ".
Nectar was busy directing how and where the furniture should go while Liam was ordering some servants around when August pulled at her dress to get her attention " Is something wrong Auggie "?
August lowered his head, still holding Nectar's dress " I'm scared " Nectar furrowed her brows, lifting August into her arms and speaking in a playful serious tone, " Who dares to scare my little Auggie "?
August laughed looking at Nectar " We used to sleep in the same room and it'll be scary if I can't see them when I wake up ". Nectar tilted her head to the side " And why is that "?
August looked down " Cos' it usually means you did something bad or made the warden upset. It doesn't always end good when we can't see each other in the morning cos' it means we'll probably never see them again ".
Nectar frowned slightly, holding August even tighter and spoke gently " I'm quite sure that won't happen here but I'm sure I can do something to make you feel better ".
Nectar put him down and walked into his room which was right next to Liam's and across from Jewlica's. She looked around and picked a sledge hammer lying on the floor.
At first she was overwhelmed by the weight when she picked it but soon got her footing and picked it up. The servants were beginning to notice their empress's strange actions but were too late to stop her.
The hammer made contact with the stone wall and broke through to the other side. Liam and the other kids ran in, worried.
Liam ran to her, checking for any sort of wounds then began scolding her when he found none " What is wrong with you? Why the heck did you do that for ". Nectar leaned on the long hammer handle , her face and clothes covered in dust and rubble and smiled " I was just doing a little renovation ".
