Chapter 16 : Your new room.
Nectar rubbed her eyes as she made her way back to her palace. She'd stayed longer than she expected last night when Hammer Head Joe had taken her dancing even though she didn't know how.
The man was a friendly muscular man. He had a bit of hair on his head as well, he was a blacksmith seeming to be in his late 40's and had made it his mission to embarrass Nectar last night.
So he and the others constantly spun her and passed her around trying to teach her how to dance. Nectar was flexible but the idea of dancing just didn't sit well with her...but that didn't matter last night.
[ I need peppermint ], Nectar sighed as she loosed the extravagant nest that was her hair and spun her black crown on her finger. She could already hear chattering as she took the marble road towards her palace.
Liam was stuck baby sitting since he felt the children needed him more...and he could clean her messes up later, like the incident with Lily. She wasn't sure what he'd done but there were no rumors about it and she could live without knowing.
When she entered, she found Jewlica, August and June surrounding Liam who was somehow pinned to the floor. Nichole was chasing Nathaniel who had stolen her paper while Marco was admiring the dagger Liam got him yesterday.
Nectar covered her gloved mouth when Liam glared at her for laughing at his predicament [ You can't see me, I can't see you ]
Nectar pulled off Jewlica who was messing with Liam's cheeks, squishing it between her tiny fingers. June and August were sitting behind him, braiding his ash hair....or at least attempting to.
" I didn't know you were changing your look Millie ". Liam sighed as he got up , dusting off his clothes " Save it Qidu, they're your problem now ".
Nectar giggled as she put Jewlica down and skipped towards Liam who was already walking away " Do you really wanna leave us alone? Do you really wanna clean our mess up, leaving us supervised "?
Liam stopped in his tracks as he looked down seriously at Nectar who had an innocent smile on her beautiful face and sighed. He flicked her forehead " Since you begged, I mean, you are incompetent, barely do anything on your own ".
Nectar pouted angrily as she rubbed the spot he flicked " I so can. I can talk, eat, breathe, walk and so many other things ". Liam smirked patting her head and spoke slowly " Sure you can empress ".
Liam walked back to where the kids were as Nectar stomped after him " Get back here. I don't want you around anymore ".

Nectar took a bath with the girls while Liam tried to get the boys cleaned up. The bath had turned into a water fight with water and rose petals all over the floor and walls [ The servants are here for a reason I guess ]
After drying off and wrapping themselves and hair in towels, they entered Nectar's closet. There were two maids standing to the side in case Nectar needed something but that rarely happened.
Nichole was excited about all the shiny pieces of jewelry, too afraid to touch while June was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of clothes. Jewlica was running barefoot through the dresses while Nectar chased after her.
Nectar let them pick what they wanted while the maids prepared matching dresses for them. They were soon done with scattered dresses everywhere as proof.
The maids were horrified when they saw June and Nichole wearing Nectar's dresses but Nectar waved it off. Though happy for their lives, they felt their empress was even more odd now but was definitely the friendliest noble they'd ever met.
They came out of the room the same time Liam and the boys did. They were on the third and last floor, their rooms were across from each other in case of emergencies and just because they wanted it that way.
June pulled at Nectar's pink sleeve " What are we gonna do today Sister "? Nectar smiled playfully, waving her other hand towards the other end of the corridor.
The corridor hadn't been fully decorated but there was a long black carpet that stretched across the long white floor. There were about six rooms on each side of this wing alone with the side she pointed to being the end of the passage.
" We are designing your rooms, doesn't that sound fun "?, they were excited enough to scramble for the doors of the rooms claiming their territory. Nectar let out a soft giggle as she leaned on Liam.
She'd decided on a long pink dress with knee length slits that showed the white stockings she was wearing. The top was long sleeved with a small V neck just above her cleavage and covered with soft white feathers.
It was getting colder so they had to dress warmer. She couldn't even stay under the trees for a nap anymore since Liam wouldn't let her. Liam had already being informed of the color Nectar would be wearing and naturally matched hers.
He wore a simple lose silk pink shirt with white leather pants and brown fur ankle boots. Then the kids 'attacked' them, making them all fall.
They were talking over each other trying to thank them for the rooms, even Mario. June wrapped her arms around Liam's neck " Is it really ours? No take backs "?
Liam nodded as he tried to get up and helped Nectar up. Then they walked towards the rooms " It hasn't been decorated yet so we should do that right now ".
Liam gave out the keys and they all opened the doors. It looked similar to Liam and Nectar's rooms but wasn't as extravagant. Everything was white, from the high vaulted ceilings to the cool marble floor.
There were a few old pieces of furniture covered by white fabric to protect from dust [ Probably belonged to Athena I guess ]. Actually, this palace was supposed to be for Athena when she became Eros' empress [ She really wanted this, too bad fate mocked us both ]
