Chapter 190 : Doesn't surprise me.

Eros wasn't the only one that was sleepless, Jiro was no different. Ever since Nectar had supposedly fallen asleep, he couldn't relax and he had the goosebumps to prove it.

He'd learned a lot of things today but Nectar really was the strangest one. Thinking aloud to himself, he couldn't help but laugh " An empress that can cook....I've never even imagined it ".

The next strangest person would be Kancor. The man did seem a bit aloof but he treated people well, Nectar in particular. It wasn't the strangeness of his movements when he went on the frozen lake, it was how it was so similar to Nectars.

He couldn't wrap the two around his head. He was certain Nectar was oblivious to it all, she always seemed good at not seeing things she didn't want to think about, " Probably why she treats Eros like air ".

He tilted his head to the side, closing his eyes " He does deserve it though. He is a bastard after all ". His ring suddenly began glowing a faint gold but it didn't burn, instead it meant a certain book was misbehaving.

He took a deep breath as he held his palm out " I wonder whose story's going off course now ". A blue hardcover book appeared in his hand, it had a silver tiara in the centre with six teardrop shaped jewels. What was strange was the gaping heart shaped hole where a gem was supposed to be.

He scoffed as he shook his head, " Now you show up "? He flipped the book over as he sighed, " I had to leave the fortress to find you and now you show up in my hand ". He opened the book and written boldly on the first page in red ink was NECTAR QUDI SOCTA of the ACTSO ISLES.

He frowned slightly, running his hand over the letters, " This should be in black ink ". He clenched his other fist and took a deep breath, " You are far from a breath of fresh air ".

Everything that had happened so far had been written in red ink, even her dance from earlier. Then snowflakes suddenly appeared on the rest of the pages. Though it was a white color, the six edges of it were slowly turning a bright blue.

He closed the book and got up, " This isn't good " [ A bit unexpected....but it doesn't surprise me it's her ] Without much thought, he left the room and walked to Nectar's, " She really doesn't know when to stop, does she "?

Liam wasn't doing too well either, Nectar had suddenly started heating up about ten minutes ago. It seemed strange since her temperature kept rising. He had no idea what was wrong with her. It couldn't be a fever since cold places wouldn't affect her so negatively.

He was running out of ideas and he didn't want the kids to wake up either. Pulling her out of the bed, he heard a soft knock on the door and frowned " Who could that possibly be "?

He looked down at her slightly sweaty face and sighed, " I can't just leave her like this ". So he did what any responsible person would do and literally carried her along. It was like carrying a baby to his chest, " When did she loose so much weight "?

Taking light steps, he opened the door and was surprised by who he saw. He took a step back and held Nectar even tighter as he tried not to frown, " What can I do for you your majesty "?
