PE for Nerds

We are at Hiro's car right now on the way to school. He always drops me off before we reach school so no one will notice that I always come with him every day.

I was about to get out when Hiro grip my hands, "Did you see who brings you to the nurse's office?"

"If I saw that person would've told you that by now, wouldn't I? But I told you I blacked out." After that, he just stares at me and no his head letting go of my wrist.

Ok? That was odd.

"Are you ok?" I ask him as I get my bag and putting it on.

"Yeah, just remember what your dad said about concealment." He said not looking at me.

To conceal one's self you need not to feel yourself. Never to look at other's eyes.

"Ok?" I say cluelessly as to why he's bringing that up. I always did it anyway so why remind me? Oh well, he may be experiencing that manly tantrum because of what happened yesterday. He tends to be overprotective sometimes.

As I fully get out of his car, he drove away.

---

I'm in front of my locker putting the book that I used in my last next subject when out of nowhere I feel someone tapping my shoulder.

I pretended to stiffen and hurriedly close my locker and face that person while looking down. "I-I'm sorry if I b-block you to y-your locker," I say as I tried getting out of that person's way when I hear her laugh.

"You're Genevieve right?" She asks, for the first time I met a girl who doesn't use a bitchy town when talking.

"Y-yeah? W-why?"

"Well, you'll be my best friend! I'm Dianne by the way!" Then she gave me a bear hug in which I stiffen, for real this time.

No one dares to talk to me and be my friend. One, I don't talk to others unless needed. Two, I shut them out. Three, most people in this school are bitches and already have their own group.

"Y-you don't want t-to be friends w-with me. I-I'll bore you out." I said pushing her away gently.

"Nope!" she said with full smiles.

Looking at her, she's beautiful. With long brunette hair on a high ponytail and a little tanned skin.

"You're next class is gym class, right?" I didn't get to answer that because she drags me there without saying anything.

---

We change into our gym clothes and I made sure I am the last one to change because it's very rare for nerds to have a good figure. Can't let them see that now, right? And to make sure I won't blow my cover I wear a thin pillow around my waist with a t-shirt that is too big for me and loose shorts that reach above my knee compared to them who only cover so little. Well, almost covering nothing.

Arranging my stuff in my gym locker my head suddenly feels dizzy and gold eyes appear in my mind but for just a slight second until it's gone again.

What the fuck is happening to me? Ugh!

"Genevieve, are you ready?" Dianne comes in and drags me out before I can answer.

AS we arrive at the track, there's another class who's playing soccer there. But my class is about the track.

And as I look at the coach that'll teach us, my eyes widened when I saw who's beside him, there's Shaun and Hiro looking at me and also there are other varsity players which I'm guessing is Hiro's team. I'm quite occupied with this thought when suddenly I feel Dianne's hand grasp my hand and I look at her confused. But her eyes are focused on the two boys who will guide us on our lesson.

"D-Dianne a-are you ok?" I ask her in a hushed tone but I think she heard me because she looks at me nodding while smiling.

Ok? Why do people start acting weird? Am I really the only person sane that's left in this world?

The coach wanted us to run 150m and time us up. Well, Hiro and Shaun are from our varsity team for soccer but just helping out because a class occupied the field so they can't practice. That's why they are the one who's holding the stopwatch and recording our time. Others are assisting those girls who get too tired.

If I know better they just want the guys to assist them so they could flaunt their disgusting bodies. And it seems that the guys don't mind. Well, of course besides Hiro and most of his friends that's really helping us.

My turn has come so I ready myself. I'm a fast runner, but as I said earlier nerds don't do sports so I purposely run slow and clumsy which leads me to act so tired after that run. Unlike them bitches, my act was flawless. So after that, Hiro passes the stopwatch to one of his friends and jogs towards me.

"Let me help you." He said with a smile on his face. Ohh, if I known Hiro better, in which I do, is that you never trust that smile of his. Especially in a situation like this one. He gives me his hand in which I take with a doubt written on my face. And when I took a couple of steps, he tripped me!

That fucking jerk just fucking trip me! And everyone is just laughing. Yeah, there's no angel here alright. I look around and saw Dianne who wanted to help me but she's in the starting line getting ready so if she moves there I bet the coach will scold her so all she does is glare at Hiro right now.

Hiro then helped me up and assisted me to the tent set up for those who injured themselves. Which in my case, I scrap my knees when I fall because of Hiro. Luckily there's no one here but us.

"Sit," he said taking out the first aid kit.

"No shit dumbass!" I hiss and that causes him to laugh.

"Sorry, I really don't mean that. I swear." He kneel his one foot and then started treating me.

"Fuck, that was a nasty fall," I mumbled.

"You should've seen it in my point of view!" Then we both burst out laughing. I know he didn't mean it because the last time this happened to me he scold me like he's my mother. And I'm a little thankful for that because if I didn't fall like that, a bitch will probably start a war against me. We then started making fun of each other silently. Well, no one's actually looking at us because they're too focused on other girls who run like a bitch. I then look at Hiro and we both look at those girls and again started laughing.

Then I hear a growl in the back of my head.

"Did you hear that?" I ask Hiro while I was looking around.

"What?" He asked curiously and also looks around.

Then my eyes stop at Shaun who averts his eyes as our eyes meet.

"Nothing," I brush it off. Maybe it's just nothing.
