Surface at last
The ship was ready, Jeff didn't want to use his [EI] because it could collapse the buildings onto the ship or frighten the leaders who might panic and use nukes.
Even if the ship could survive the heat and shockwave it made diplomacy difficult. Sure Jeff could order soldiers to destroy humanity but that isn't how grandkids should treat their grandparents. It's one of the few remaining human things in Jeff.
He didn't need to do anything really for now because the ship is living and additioanly is manned by whole race. Jeff will be traveling to Jupiter's moon Titan. Why there? Simple low gravity, cyanide for air and methane rivers, a perfect place to refine interstellar race. The second reason is Jupiter's atmosphere which is composed of mainly hydrogen which could be used to make energy generators or create new weapons.
The ship is currently in huge cave that was mined for last 3 months along with ship's construction. the dirt a the top was softened as much as possible without risking any accidents. The area was in the shape of egg, ships design was based on alien ship from Arrival, and tripod creature mentioned in book called Proxima, Made by Stephen Baxter.
The vessel had the ability to move in space and on land, additionally the exterior of the ship is made out of mix of titanium and chitin-bone armor. The interior on the other hand was solid, this means that "passengers" and "crew" cannot move away from their stations. You see corridors are just a big hazard and a hassle. Especially for a race that can move their conciousness into new bodies at will. This simply put that Jeff's species has achieved immortality but unlike like him the species will stay immortal as long as the hive exists <*>.
The ship has started moving, front armour have hardened and the thruster section roared loudly and exploded with unseen force. In first 100 meters the vessel achieved mach 3. The journey to the surface took about 30 minutes, Jeff ordered the ship to wait at the surface for a while to repair whatever broke and see what the UN would do.

John's perspective.
In majestic explosion of pyroclastic materials and concrete the giant 3 legged thing revealed itself, seemingly unaffected by death zone. I didn't know what to think about it. The BoC reported changes in the zone, simply put patrols noticed birds inside death zone.
-"Well shit, what do we do, boss? Nukes, diplomacy or ignore it?"-John wasn't waisting time, he also asked his assistent to bring his gear so he could put it on while talking with the director of his division.
-"Swift go with the squad to check it out bring scientists and boys from BoC."-Director didn't even wait for decision from the president, he knew he needed to asses what is happening so the chicken in seat of power won't anger something terrible.
John called everyone to assemble in the garage area. After long 30 minutes the newbies came still in their casual clothes. Swift almost exploded with rage seeing these cretins, who aren't able to read the situation.
-"Good thing that you are in the gear, we will be departing in 5 minutes I will tell everything i know during the trip to BoC."-John said to them sarcasticaly and entered the armored van.

The squad was more or less equiped, some didn't have their boots on some dumbasses didn't even managed to put their vests on. He sighed and ordered to depart.

2 painfully slow hours later
John was looking at the monolithic creature thing before him. They were able to go inside the death zone without any problems. It seems that the zone was deactivated by the creature or something else that want's them to meet it.
Suddendly the airlock like thing made out of flesh opened, it was completly closed of there was nothing inside. Some veins and pipes detached themselfes from the walls inside and created thin cocoon, soon the insides were created before them.
Creature was similiar to the ant with 6 limbs and chitin armor, it had 3 toes and long heels, lower pair of arms were slimmer and had more fingers which looked like they were developed to operate with great precision. The second pair of arms were thick with 4 fingers on each hand. Creature had wings, but they seemed to thin to allow the creature to fly. The head was similiar to the human's but the entetity hadn't any nose to breathe or mouth to eat.
It's armor started glowing soon showing hielogryphs that describe simple story. Soon it moved and teared it's cocoon after absorbing liquid inside the membrane. The thing falled and landed gracefully before us. It then started making strange sounds shortly after it speaked in mix of egyptian and norse languages. After repeating same thing for like 30 minutes it fell silent.
John sensed another even bigger headache coming, and silently cried inside himslef for not being able to live comfortably.

Heey it's ya boi author here i'm feelin sick so i'm gonna work on grammar mistakes or somethin for a while. This chapter alone took me 2 days to make and i feel it isn't as satisfactory as others.
