Keitel staggered unsteadily to his feet and loomed over Lucia. His palm slammed down heavily on the door behind. 

He was so close Lucia could feel his breath on her neck. She shuddered. His hair escaping over his eyes, he looked down on Lucia. Keitel's face was slightly red.
"I said get out." He breathed.

Lucia stared back into his piercing blue eyes unwaveringly. Keitel sniffed and pulled in close. His skin brushed against Lucia's cheek. His hot breath tickled her ear.

"You really had me fooled." He whispered. "Is this still part of your game?"

Lucia tried to move away. His other hand came down on the door...

They put together a plan, despite Michael's trepidation. Lucia convinced Michael of the dangers of involving anyone else. He was doubtful but they were running out of time, the delegation and their window for action would soon depart. Surely Lucia knew the danger of demons better than anybody, he could trust her judgement. Couldn't he?

The evening before the delegation left for Ascar, Lucia was set to have another dinner with Keitel. They were set in the schedule for each week and had become a habit. In between the drawn-out silence and endless questions, they bored Lucia immensely. She sat down across from him with undisguised apathy.
