A few hours later, Keitel was in his office, buried under a pile of paperwork. Albaric knocked at the door. He entered with a brisk step.

"Your Majesty, I have the report on the weapon," Albaric handed it to Keitel.

"Is it legitimate?" Keitel flicked through.

"Bottom line, yes, but I think you should read the report in full first," Albaric suggested.

Keitel glanced up from the papers and peered over at Albaric. Albaric looked more serious than usual. His boyish wide eyes rarely held the stern gaze of Keitel's other generals. This time, however, Albaric appeared resolved to speak his mind. Keitel set the papers down.

"What is it?" Keitel asked plainly.

"It is the Empress," Albaric didn't hesitate.

"Go on," Keitel motioned.
