False Expectations

A week and a half into His journey, Thexan calmed down. Sadness can only hold on for so long before rationality takes over. "You have a second chance now, don't mess it up."

Thexan would repeat this frase whenever the memories would surface.

Zakuul, looked almost exactly the way Thexan remembered it. Lush green forests, wide rivers, great oceans and beautiful grasslands. The only notable difference being that the capitol was the only city still lit up. Getting closer, Thexan heard some distortion come over the coms. Attempting to contact the control tower lead nowhere, so Thexan just decided to land.

Unfortunately, thats not what the inhabitants of Zakkul's capitol had in mind. Sending out fighter after fighter to take down the intruder.

Thexan was forced to either fight or flight, and considering there were literally hundreds of fighters after him, and he was piloting a simple transport with minimum weapons. Lets just say no one would blame him for running away.

Even escaping was difficult, shot after shot coming too close for comfort. Only experience and the force allowed Thexan to stay alive. Suddenly about as fast as it began, It stopped. Once Thexan reached a few clicks (the equivalent of a kilometer) away from the city, all the fighters turned and headed back.

"Strange".

With little choice Thexan landed in a clearing close enough to the capitol, that he could see it. But far enough that they wouldn't come back for him. With no choice but to walk Thexan started heading for the capitol on foot. Whoever was there, would very likely be defending something important.

The walk was pleasant, the scenery bringing feelings of nostalgia to Thexan. The indigenous birds singing their songs, Thexan felt at peace. He couldn't help but smile slightly.

Reaching out with the force Thexan began to feel the planet. People, there were still people here. That was not what Thexan expected. Total sentient abandonment is what he was looking forward to. "Fun, someone deliberately attacked me on my arrival". Thexan couldn't really help but be annoyed.

"To send hundreds of fighters to kill one small transport. Whatever they're hiding, must be important."

Trudging on Thexan planned his attack. "Lets give them a show shall we".

Well here it is, hope it is to your satisfaction. I have made slight modifications to the Ideas given to me by limplion and brezer.

Will try to speed up chapter release. I am however writing a whole arc based on nothing but a few vague ideas, and what none existent info I find on wookiepedia about Zakuul after the SWTOR games. So I ask for a bit of patience.

Anyways, I was asked to add more detail, once again I don't understand fully how to do that. But I have made an attempt that I hope is at least OK.

Have a wonderful week.
