Dean said "The last thing I want to be is famous. As for resources I already received a bunch from the patriarch. Anyway I am planning take a look at the alchemist guild, do you guys want to go?"

Reggie said "You can't just drop a bomb like that and pretend its nothing, you talked with the patriarch? Is he strong?"

Dean said "This is why I keep this a secret, no I never talked or seen him. Do you guys want to go the alchemist guild?"

Reggie said "Sure mister genius, it would be a pleasure" making Eva laugh a bit.

Dean just shook his head and started walking towards the exit, the two getting up and following him. Having a great memory since he was reborn he easily remembered the way.

The building was big and more fancy than all other stores around it with a big metal cauldron sign, whit a tree, just like the one in holographic flag of the huge administrative hub, engraved.

Right when they entered a smiling gorgeous elf woman, with a long blonde hair, green eyes and a sexy figure, wearing green clothes that accentuated her charm, came to greet them.

She said with a sweet voice "Hello, are you here to buy potions?"

Dean said "I actually wanted to know if you sell any books on alchemy here"

The big smile in the elf face disappeared, she said "If you want to waste your money on failing to become an alchemist go talk to the receptionist"

Not bothered about what the pretty elf said, Dean just walked pass her to one of the many counters, where a half fish woman was, with her blue fish scales as skin, fish eyes, and two fins on top of her head, wearing a green work uniform.

For an instant the woman was surprised when she saw Dean, but her ample experience allowed her to compose herself very quickly, her surprise barely escaping Dean keen senses.

She said "Hello, what can I help you with?"

Dean said "Hello, I am looking for books on alchemy, do you sell them here? Or know where I can get them?"

The fish woman said "Yes we do have them here, we are actually giving them out to anyone interested lately. the demand on potions is getting higher this last few years, while the number of alchemist barely increases.

Stay here, I will be getting them for you in a second".

Reggie said "Well this is convenient, looks like we will have an alchemy genius as a friend in the future Eva"

Eva laughed a little then said "Don't forget us when you become a big shot and we want a discount"

Dean rolled his eyes and said "You too talk like its a guarantee that I will become an alchemist, a good one at that. If it was so easy potions would be cheaper"

Jogging a little, the receptionist came back carrying two thick books, one thinner book and a wood box. She said "Sorry for making you wait mister Dean"

For a second he found very weird that she knew his name, but he quickly connected the dots to what the fat purple elder said. Dean smiled a little and squinted his eyes as he asked "How do you know my name?"

The receptionist froze hearing his question, not having a single idea of how to respond or what to do.

Still smiling Dean asked "This books aren't normaly free are they?"

The word dammit repeated again and again on the receptionist thoughts as she answered with a simple "No".

Dean shook his head then said "Don't worry I was already a bit suspicious, giving free stuff seemed to be against the whole principle of this sect. But I don't refuse free stuff, I will still be taking the books, thanks"

The receptionist just stood there watching Dean and friends leave the guild, releasing a sigh when they walked out of the guild. She then dejectedly walked to her boss office, knowing she would be yelled at for this.

As they walked back home Reggie asked "What was that all about? How did she know you? Is this how you get resources from the patriarch?"

Dean sighed, knowing Reggie would keep asking about this, he said "Remember that guy who gave us the cards? So he wanted to talk to me on private to tell me that the clans who ran this place know about my talent.

Basically they want to look good to me so I join their clan in the future. It won't be long before some random people start trying to befriend me, that is going to be so bothersome."

Reggie said "Your talent is high enough to make people just give you free stuff?"

Dean said "Look at this" with a flash of blue light the books and box on his hand disappeared.

Eva and Reggie looked at him in surprise, Reggie asked "How did you do that? Where did it go?"

Dean smiled a little "Its a spatial storage, the purple guy gave it to me".

After managing to make Reggie stop ask about him, they start visiting and looking at cool buildings, statues or at at some genius who where surrounded like a movie star, which made Dean feel happy about his decision of remaining anonymous.

They only reached the inn when it was already dark, the last meal of the day was already being served.

After eating together, they where off to their rooms to cultivate some more and rest for the day.

Dean rapidly absorbed all the spirit qi that was in the room and decided to start checking the things gained. The first thing he inspected was the simple box.

Inside of it there was four dried up brown leaf, eight fine white powder in a small glass flask, four empty glass flasks and a note with a simple recipe of a potion named wound mending potion.

Dean thought "Being a genius sure have its benefits, they just gave me free ingredients and a recipe. Don't even know how much this costs"
