Chapter 18
POV Baki
I was preparing for my clash with Kai in the Locker rooms, when my father entered and say's "This will be your first fight against a person who can match me" Yujiro said with all seriousness as he sat and drank the Coca cola on the table.
"Why do you care?" Baki resentfully replied to him as he wraps his wrist.
"Why? hahaha, if you win this fight, it means you're ready" Yujiro gestured with his hands as he grin and laugh maniacally.
Shocked and surprised at what Yujiro had said, Baki stood there looking at Yujiro as if he couldn't believe it.
"what? isn't this what you want all along?" Yujiro followed up with a taunt as he grin like a psychopath that he is.
Baki resuming his preparation muttered "I'll have to defeat you Kai" determination adorning his face as he wraps his other wrist.
Yujiro seeing Baki so determined laugh so loud it could be heard outside the hallway.
As i entered the arena with my father, I could see Kai tense ready for an attack "So we fight" I spoke as he looked down on me.
"Yeah, didn't expect your father with you, that's all" Kai replied to me, his muscle and figure shifted turning into a spring, ready to attack or defend in case of attack.
"You don't want a clash with me, Demon King" I turned my head as my father threatened Kai surprised as he craned his head as if to look down on him.
"Aren't you too overconfident?, Ogre-san" Kai taunts back as both of them unleashed an atmosphere so heavy that everyone present hold their breath waiting if two monster will collide.
"last we fought, I've broken your arms Demon King, shall we brea....."Yujiro replied in an aggressive tone but he got interrupted by Baki yelling "This is my fight!! I won't let you interfere father"
Turning both of their attention to Baki, Yujiro saw the burning spirit of Baki waiting to be unleashed, Shrugging his shoulders "Don't disappoint me" As he smiled and went to the area where the Gong was situated.
Taking control of the Gong Yujiro scared the poor man manning it, as he takes position and shouting "Go!!" he slammed it hard disfiguring the Gong and producing a loud sound that echoed at the Arena.

POV Kai
As Yujiro Hanma started the match, I could see Baki's fighting spirit resembling a warrior ready to take my very own spirit of battle that looks like the monster Typhon with dragon mouths as appendages and giant snakes as hair.
Baki walking towards me fired his signature lightning jab which i caught with my right "I thought I trained you enough to let you know this isn't gonna work" as i taunt Baki i twisted his hands using Aiki sending him spinning.
Baki taking advantage of the momentum provided by Kai as he spun around, Baki unleashed 2 roundhouse kicks at Kai's face on the left side.
Kai Blocked it with his left feeling the power behind the kicks, leaving a mark at his left forearm Kai could see Baki landing elegantly as he stopped spinning mid air, Baki continued his attacks with a triceratops charge catching Kai by the midsection pushing him for 2 meters before being stopped.
Kai smiling as he thought ' you want to use the ancient style, then I'll play with you ' as he stretched his hands taking the T-Rex stance and clamp down on Baki who's holding his midsection, Digging his fingers at Baki's sides he could hear Baki yelp in pain as he tried to used the Mantis style to hit Kai's vitals in close range.
Before executing the 5 chi blocking strikes from the Mantis style, Baki got hurled away from Kai tumbling for a few seconds he quickly stand up as he assumed the monkey stance out of reflex.
"Almost got me there, hahaha got to admit I taught you well" Kai boisterously laugh as he lowered his stance to the lightning God style.
Baki sensed danger as he instinctively sent a kick straight in front of him, blinking he saw Kai who previously was about 3 meters away from him already on his front, Baki continued his straight kick with the Crane style double kick.
Kai who used Blink from the Koei style to close the distance, applauding Baki's instincts as he blindly kick and then following with a Crane double kick, stopping just a hair width from Baki's kicks he continued the charge while Baki was in mid kick.
Baki suprised when Kai checked him with a charge as he managed to weave in between his crane double kick, he was then lifted up by his boxers then got thrown faced down violently, using his arms to bounce Baki propped himself up with his arms to prevent his gruesome demise, using his arms Baki then pushed off the ground to land away from Kai.
Kai surprised that Baki survived his throw that the Japanese might know as a sumo technique Yagura, smirking Kai say's to Baki "So you survived that, glad my time isn't wasted"
Baki sweating after his near death encounter replied "Well I learned from the best"
"Shall we continue" Kai said as he beckoned Baki in the famous Bruce Lee gesture of ' Come get me '
Baki smiling as he took a sprint toward Kai and leaped firing a Sokutou a karate flying kick meant to slice, Kai performing indestructible technique of the Niko style tank Baki's flying kick.
Baki happily smile as he saw his kick connect only to be disappointed rather than digging into Kai's flesh his toes only to find he barely scratched Kai's skin.
Taking advantage of Baki's shock, Kai grabbed Baki's ankles and swung down as he kicked up to hit Baki's torso.
Baki snapping out of his reverie twisted his torso to blocked Kai's upward kick with both his hands.
lifting Baki up again to slam him to the ground Kai immediately blocked Baki's consecutive kicks as he tried to free himself from Kai's grasp.
Baki freed himself when Kai's gripped on his ankle slipped due to the sweat Baki has accumulated.
As Baki distanced himself Kai as he shake off the sweat on his hands which allowed Baki to get out of his gripped "You're lucky, even sweat helped you" Says Kai as Baki took another stance.

POV Katsumi Orochi
Watching the fight between the Ogre's son vs the Demon King was the most adrenaline pumping fight I saw for a while.
As they trade blows and Baki escaping the Demon King clutches it got me holding the armchair tightly as i internally cheered from the bottom of my heart for Baki to win.

POV Yujiro Hanma
"hahahaha!, that's it!, evolve, get stronger Baki!" Yujiro cheered Baki as he watched the exchange between him and the Demon King.
Yujiro couldn't be more excited since his carefully cultivated seed will soon bore fruit.
As he analysed each of their moves and techniques Yujiro couldn't help but clench his fist and muttering "A little longer and I'll be able to savor you"

POV Alexandra
We hurriedly got to the Tokyo dome with my parents in law and friends, when I saw Baki fighting Kai for the first time I wasn't sure on whom to cheer.
It's nerve-wracking to see Kai almost slam Baki to the floor, i once saw what happened to people when Kai had smashed them to the ground and i assure anyone it's not a pretty sight.
Seeing them smiling also brought happiness to me, but as i see them dance with death if they made a wrong move I could only hope they don't kill each other.

POV Baki
For the last decade, I didn't expect to fight like this if it isn't for Kai teaching me how to fight smartly and him imparting some techniques, I wouldn't last a heartbeat against him or my father.
We fought for what seemed like eternity and as I delivered a roundhouse kick Kai caught it with his left and gripped it really hard making me scream in pain, taking a look at him i could see Kai cocking his fist while simultaneously turning into his Demon form with the unnatural flexing of his muscles.
Trying my best to free myself I heard Kai whispered "If you survived this, I'll forfeit"
sensing danger i shield myself with both arms as Kai unleashed a punch so strong, it broke my arms and ribs as i flew so hard against the barrier it broke.
getting hard to breathe I tried to get up only for a shooting pain erupt at my arms, as I used my legs to barely stand i could see Kai waving that he surrender as i blacked out.

POV Kai
" Whew, Baki sure is tough and a prodigy, i expected him to get knocked out when i punched him squarely on his torso with Blast core augmented with Gott-tötter Steinbohrer and a Guihun power up, still he powered through" Kai muttered as he wave Tokugawa who's too entranced in their fight that he can't give out a response.
Tokugawa snapping out immediately signaled to Kai to leave the arena, so he could declare Baki as the winner.
Kai getting the hint went to the exit as he wanted Baki to still be conscious as Tokugawa announced him as a winner.
As Kai was in the hallways leading to the locker room, he could hear the chanting of the crowd and the celebration that the Demon King had forfeited due to the extreme tenacity of Baki.
Smiling Kai entered the locker room only to find his parents, Alexandra, and his friends cheering him and telling Kai how mature he was for letting Baki win.

[Haneda airport in Tokyo]
The next day i saw off my girlfriend and friends in the airport promising text and calls.
Kai told Alexandra that he might not go back into the state's for 2 years since he'll be looking around and fighting people in this side of the world, he also told her that in case he wasn't reachable by phone he'll send a letter.
As they got on Kai's family jet they wave Kai and yelled to bring back souvenirs, which made Kai laugh as he saw the jet take off the horizon.

[Next 3 days at the Tokyo park]
Wandering at 8 pm Kai could be seen looking around for Izou Motobe, since he knew that the guy was a weapon master and a Damm good ninja he's taking no chances.
After circling around Kai finally found Motobe near the fountain, carrying a kusarigama Motobe was confident he could win against the Demon King if he had weapons.
Kai getting excited used Guihun immediately as he saw Motobe spinning the sickle part of the kusarigama.
Motobe taking no chances flung his weapon at Kai who smiled as the weapon neared him.
Kai waiting for the right timing used a technique from Kure life and death style to snatch the handle part of the sickle, quickly tugging and pulling at the chains to pull Motobe.
Motobe quickly let go of the kusarigama as he won't let Kai near him, opening his jacket he retrieved some kunai's and ninja stars.
Flinging them at fast speed's Motobe desired to buy more time as he reached for the Katana he is carrying on his back.
Kai seeing the incoming projectiles used the kusarigama he took from Motobe and spun it to deflect the kunai's and ninja stars, as he noticed Motobe reaching from behind his back Kai sent the Kusarigama in sweeping attack forcing Motobe to dodge like Neo from the matrix.
Continued barrage made Motobe step back and back as Kai guided him to where he wanted Motobe to be.
reaching the spot Kai kick a stone to the direction of Motobe as a feint, he used the weighted end of the Kusarigama as another distraction as he swung the sickle on Motobe's blind spot.
Motobe choosing to receive the stone, deflecting the weighted end of the chain Motobe didn't saw the incoming sharp end as it buried on his shoulders.
Shocked and in pain Motobe tried to pull it out, but Kai didn't allowed Motobe to do it as he reeled him in forcefully like a huge fish.
Getting dragged Motobe tried his best to dislodged the sickle imbedded on his shoulders, he couldn't let the Demon King close to him still remembering the slapped he gave Motobe last time.
Kai belted out Pudge qoutes from the DOTA "Get over here!!" as he closed in Motobe.
Motobe now panicking since he haven't got himself off the sickle, when the dragging stopped looking up he could see the Demon King smiling then blacking out.
After stomping Motobe to Dreamland, Kai searched him for weapons and he couldn't believe the amount of weapons this guy brought.
muttering "Are you the deadlier version of Dora" as Kai lined up Kunai's,ninja stars,blowpipes with a sticky liquid he assumed as poisoned,a sharp Katana, flashbangs, smoke bombs, grenades, Swiss knives, high tensile thin wires, and many more.
Looting the Katana, kunai's,ninja stars, and the wire Kai set Motobe at the bench making him look like a homeless man as he propped him out so he could be comfortable.
Leaving Kai was skipping his steps as he swung his new weapons around.

[ 3 days after the fight with Motobe]
Finally finding the Hakuyou street, Kai walked around when he came upon an abandoned lot with an old man in a seiza position with a Katana on his side.
approaching him Kai could feel the intense pressure the old man was emitting, bringing the Katana he looted from Motobe he readied himself as he stopped at 3 meters away from the old man's range.
"Hey, old man could you stop sitting and get this over with" Kai spoke to the old man as he took a Chudan-no-kamae stance with the Katana.
Standing up the old man introduced himself "I am Sabukyou Ichiro, it's an honor to face you" as he bowed in respect.
"Hmmm, well then I'm Kai and let's fight"Kai flared his battle spirit as he pointed his Katana at Ichiro.
Ichiro taking the Te Ura Gasumi stance as he replied to Kai "Hohohoho, Youngster so much spirit and vig..."
Ichiro interrupting his words to quickly slash Kai upwards as he dashed forward.
Kai using Fallen Demon used the flat of blade of the Katana to parry Ichiro at the same time grabbing the old man's face.
As Kai grabbed Ichiro face he slammed it down quickly to knock the old man out, since when he used Fallen demon Ichiro was too quick for his ages and if Kai fought a battle of attrition he'll surely lose due to the old man's experience.
Ichiro not expecting how fast Kai as he felt his world floated when he was grabbed in the face then blacked out.
Kai looking at the sleeping old man couldn't help but shiver and think ' I need to train on weapons, this guy is strong, if I hadn't been stronger in overall aspects I'll be cut up, I wonder how bullshit Musashi is if this guy was the strongest swordman currently '
as he lay down the old man in the most comfortable position out of respect he left as the sun peeked out of the horizon.

[Next day Tokugawa estate]
At the courtyard Kai waited for Gaia, he felt danger as he leaned hard left Kai could see a dart imbedded in front of him turning around he could hear "Tsk, I missed"
Seeing Gaia trying to sneak attack him Kai returned the favor as he used the Footwork of the Lightning God Style and blink from the Koei style.
Gaia confused on where Kai had gone to suddenly blacked out as he was knocked out from behind by Kai.
Looking at the little twerp Kai was a little pissed that Gaia tried to dart him instead of his usual style of fighting dirty and using the environment.
Tying him as tight as he can Kai hanged him upside down at one of the signal towers peak "That should teach him" he muttered as he dusted his own hands of metaphorical dirt.

[2 days later at Toyou highway]
Kai was standing in front of a man wielding a kukri who was waving and doing tricks with it, that Kai was yawning because it's so boring.
Sanada getting infuriated because of Kai's lack of respect proceeded to chop him down.
Kai seeing the rather slow movement of this guy quickly done a spartan kick which caved the man's ribcage.
Turning around and caring nothing for the wheezing man Kai left the place whistling as if nothing had happened.

[Next day at Yasha Creek]
Kai told Tokugawa that he wanted to go hiking was currently at Yasha Creek, from what he knows of the Mangas and anime, this is the place he'll find Japan's big foot/yeti.
Hearing a roar Kai couldn't help but smile as the rumbling footsteps neared him.
