Chapter 23

After talking with Oscar Burton and taking his cousins home, Kai was wandering around London east side since he's been told that this is where Charles Bronson could be found.

Walking to where the pubs are located, Kai finally found Bronson drunk and on the verge of beating a man who's too drunk to recognize him and keep on berating him for his spilled beer.

"WHO ARE YOU MATE!! STOPPED INTERFERING OR I'LL WHOP YOUR ASS!!" the drunk man who's arguing with Bronson shouted at Kai.

"You don't want this, I'll warn you"Kai flared his aura which made the drunk man piss in fear once he felt the murderous aura directed at him by Kai.

"eeeehhh!!" shrieked the the drunk as he run away so fast he stumbled.

"you are a fighter, same as me" Bronson suddenly sobered up when he felt Kai menacing aura.

Looking up Bronson found a tall intimidating muscular man who released the aura, getting excited he stood up from his seat and invited the man to a drink.

"I'm not here to be drinking buddy's with you, I'm here to see if you're the real deal" Kai towering over Bronson said as he refused to seat down.

Smiling Bronson replied "Alright, no harm done, why don't yo..." As he almost finished his words Bronson swing a bottle of beer towards Kai's face.

As Bronson landed face first to the ground with a thump followed by his body who stiffened like a plank, Kai could not believe that he's easily defeated but nonetheless he asked the shocked bartender "give me some of your Strongest alcohol" as he tossed some money from his pocket.

Handed by a bottle of vodka by the bartender who's expression was that of a mixed between shocked and fear.

looking around Kai could see people are watching while some are leaving, opening the bottle he poured it on the unconscious Charles Bronson.

As the bottle almost emptied Bronson suddenly stood up like nothing had happened, scratching his head he thanked Kai as he explained "that cleared my head of the buzz"

"What's your name stranger?" Bronson asked as if he was a friendly person.

"Name's Kai, now can we go somewhere less crowded"Kai replied as he smiled and thought ' I knew it this guy ain't average '

"Sure"Bronson says as he neared Kai, As he neared him by 1 paces he fired a lightning jab at Kai's face.

Kai at the same time fired a punch, due to his longer reach and faster reflex Kai's punch was the first that landed making Bronson fly back.

Landing on some tables who's occupants already evacuated the scene, Bronson stood up sneezing out the ever flowing stream of blood on his nose.

"Looks like you still had some fight in you Mr. Bronson" Kai taunted which made Bronson angry, lifting some of the broken tables and flinging it at Kai who casually dodge as he moved from away from the projectiles way.

As it landed on Bronson face, he flew back so hard that he dented the concrete wall, walking up to him Kai could see the smiling face of Bronson as he lay there unconscious.

"You're strong, if not for me who you're fighting, you might have win due to your sheer tenacity" Kai says to the unconscious Charles Bronson and as he heard the Sirens of the cops Kai decided to just leave.

As he left the establishment Kai met Oscar Burton who's watching the fight from the far distance.

"Your favor has been done, I hope you don't forget that you owe me" Kai says which snapped Burton from his daze.

"alright, just call if you need anything" Burton flinging a calling card at Kai before leaving, as Kai turned around he could hear Burton saying in the far distance "Amazing"

POV Oscar Burton

Seeing the supposed Demon King in action was incredible, he easily dealt with the nuisance that is Charles Bronson.

Taking out his phone he called Eddie Richardson "Boss, the strongman was already dealt with by the american, Bronson should be staying in a hospital for a week or 2, we could move in the former Krays territory with him gone"

"Good job" Say's the voice on the phone.

"We'll send some of the guys right now, tell the american we owed him a favor and if he needs anything call the Richardson's" says the voice on the other end.

"I already gave him my calling card boss, everything's alright"Burton replied

"Good, with this we now have south,east,and west London under us, keep up the good work" replied the other end as it was put down.

in a cheery mood Oscar Burton skipped his steps only to find a bloody and wrecked Charles Bronson in front of him.

"So you're the one, who sent the strong guy my way" Bronson cracking his neck as he grasp the neck of Burton.

"You Know mate, he's very strong, that one named Kai, I had to play dead for him not to destroy me, but knowing that you've set him on me made me very itchy" Bronson tightened his grasp on the neck of Burton who's trying his best to pry and hit Bronson arm to free himself.

"I'm gonna enjoy breaking you" Bronson says as he carried Burton by the neck towards a dark alley.

Oscar Burton was never seen after that day.

POV Kai

After beating Bronson, Kai had realized that he's becoming more and more absurd especially his strength it's already on a mythical side.

"This must be what it felt like being as strong as the Ogre" Kai muttered as he headed back into the Townhouse.

Arriving Kai was ambushed by his cousins, as they pulled him to play board games Kai could only laugh as they tried to move him.

Relenting Kai allowed himself to be directed to play Monopoly.

After getting beaten everytime Kai had enough, apparently the dice hate him enough for him to always land in jail, making him lose every game in Monopoly.

As he got up and went to his bed room, a maid stopped and handed him a letter.

the man you're seeking is at Heilong-Jiang temple looked for Kaioh Ryu although he might be indisposed since I broked his arms when he refused to disclose the man's location, do not forget your promise or I'll hunt you down.

"hahaha, looks like the Ogre is fast to act, well then let's tell Mom and Dad, that I'm leaving tomorrow" Kai said to himself after laughing

"So you're the man, that the Demon King was looking for" Yujiro sneered as he looked at the frail man sitting at a wheelchair.

"hohoho, someone is looking for me and he sent the Ogre to find me? is the man who defeated the US army now a lackey" the Old man laughed at his wheelchair.

Hearing this made Yujiro furious as he quickly swung down at the old man, only to find that he only destroyed a wheelchair, looking up he found the old man somersault in the air before landing safely.

"hooo, that's dangerous almost killed me there, why don't we talk it out while having tea" the old man offered as Yujiro looked at him his expression full of irritation with nerves bulging out of his muscles.

Calming himself Yujiro decided to humour the old man as he sat down waiting for the tea offered.

"So you're no ordinary old man, Kaku Kaioh he told me you're the strongest of China" Yujiro says with a predatory look in his eyes as he smirk at the old man pouring tea.

"So I take it, someone told you about me, that's why you've found me, in this rather unpopular nation and place" Kaku Kaioh says as he now poured his own tea.

As he chugs his tea in a rather barbaric way Yujiro says "I'd rather end this, I'll admit it the brat know you before I did, but now you're in front of me China's strongest, I can't wait to fight you"

cackling Kaku replied "Well then, let me clean this cups then we can fight to our hearts content Mr. Ogre"

Yujiro Hanma stood up and took his stance as he flared his menacing aura "I'm gonna enjoy devouring you" as he smiled sadistically.

POV Kai

After convincing his parents that he needs to go to China, Kai bids his Grandfather, uncle,aunt, and cousins goodbye as he had the maids pack all the necessary items he needed for the trip.

Archibald his grandfather told him "You're always welcome to come home with us at the De Rohan castle back in France, my grandson" as he hug Kai farewell.

"Come see us or we'll come to you whenever you are" Say's Charlotte as she hugs Kai too.

Flying to China and arriving at Taiping airport, Kai rented a helicopter to fly at the Bailin temple at Heilong-Jiang mountains.

"So you must be Kaioh Ryu, glad to meet you" as Kai took the free hand of Kaioh Ryu, He also applied Aiki on it making the injured man sweat and grit his teeth.

' I know you're an arrogant man who thinks Chinese martial arts are the ultimate fighting technique, well then try to survive my Aiki ' Kai thought as he remained smiling and held the hand of Kaioh Ryu.

Kaioh Ryu just realizing that the foreigner somehow used a technique on him, using his legs he kick upwards to have the foreigner release him only to find himself spinning in the air.

"I'm not as strong as him, yet" Kai replied but he followed up with "That's why I'm here, to ask you to teach and guide me"

"I see, then follow me so you can set your belongings where they should be, after that we'll see if I can train you" Kaku says as he beckoned Kai to follow.

"I'm curious, How do you know of me?" Kaku ask as he walked side by side with Kai.

"I just heard of you from one of my friends,the supposedly Grandmaster of the Grandmasters of China's martial arts" Kai replied as he looked around.

"Hohoho, quite a high praise there" Kaku laugh at Kai's answer.

"I'm Kai by the way, it's an honor to meet the legendary Kaku Kaioh" Kai bowed as they stopped in front of a room.

"Don't do that, the strong should not bow even to their elders" chide Kaku as he got Kai to stand straight again.

"Rest for today, tommorow we'll start your training, don't disappoint me i had high expectations, especially when the strongest creature had vouched for you" says Kaku as he leave.

Kai who's excited immediately unpacked his belongings and arrange them in a neat manner inside the sparse room.

as he laid in the bed, Kai can't help but shiver in excitement at the prospect of sparring with Kaku tomorrow and to learn the bullshit technique Shaori.

As Kai woke up early, he grabbed his hygiene kit and Immediately went out to ask a monk where he could clean himself.

As he wandered the still dim hallways, he finally found someone who directed him at the back of the temple, where the well of water was located.

washing himself Kai heard the voice of Kaku greeting him "You're an early bird, good, good, we shall start after you've finished cleaning yourself"

Giving a nod at Kaku, Kai went back to his room to change and came back to where Kaku is.

"Come, let's see if you had what it takes to be trained by me" Kaku says as he went towards the training yard.

after reaching the training yard, Kaku Kaioh tested Kai with various test like strength,speed, reflex, technique, and a lot more.

Which Kai breeze through easily as if the test was a farce.

Kaku seeing the potential and power of the young man in front of him finally decided that he will train him to be one of the strongest disciple he ever had.

"Young man, follow my instructions and you'll be able to defeat the Ogre, once I'm done with you" Smiling Kaku declared that he can make Kai strong enough to defeat Yujiro Hanma.

After that Kaku taught Kai a lot of Chinese martial arts, from the old and to the new he kept teaching Kai which absorbed the lessons very fast that Kaku was excited that he will create the perfect warrior.

"I'll be teaching you one of my personal techniques, watch closely as I demonstrate it" says Kaku as he loosened his control over his body making it look boneless from afar.

Kai seeing Shaori for the first time was amazed at the sight of Kaku doing it, trying to immitate it Kai imagined himself as a feather as he remembered from his past life how the Shaori works.

As he tried to copy it Kaku was stunned at how Kai easily imitated his ultimate technique, muttering "What a genius and a prodigy" Kaku swore in his heart that Kai will be his masterpiece.
