The Hidden Chronicles [II]

"But before she died, she met a man with sky-blue eyes, who helped her, they both fell in love but could not be together, he belonged to a well-respected Clan, and she belonged to a Clan that ended up being dissolved and forgotten over the years."

"Since they couldn't be together, they both decided to make a soul pact, that the records of the history don't tell, but it is said that they would meet in the future and be together, then they decided to have offspring of their own with another partner, she raised the name Lockhart, and he raised the name Greenwood, the rest of the Golden Royals are from the Branch families of the Clan Patriarch with heterochromia."

"These are pretty extensive chronicles but what we have is incomplete..."

Not wanting to waste a moment in bragging about their mutual affection and their wedding in the future, with love and longing in her eyes, Eliza spoke "Well, if Annie is our ancestor, and the blue-eyed man is yours, our union must have been predestined, I think it has a lot to do with the pact between the souls of both of them..."

"Damn! Even history gives us dog food!!!" shouted Grandpa somewhat exasperated.

"Even in these serious and important moments, they don't forget to make eyes at each other or brag about their love, now they come out with the idea that it is predestined?" murmured the Old Man in his heart, but doesn't dare to talk it out loud in front of her, for fear that he would lash some unpleasant love words…

In many occasions they ask themselves why from the first moment they saw each other they felt a nice connection?

Because even though they don't see each other, they still think about each other.

Why in spite of going through so many things, they could not forget each other's look?

Why do they always remember each other in bad times, to strengthen each other emotionally?

Many questions that are in their hearts, could be answered with the pact of souls between both ancestors.

Could Annie with the beautiful emerald eyes and the man with the sky-blue eyes be part of their past lives? Or just by being part of their descendants, was it something inevitable and predictive that at some point had to be fulfilled?

It could be both, because firstly the precedent of reincarnation was first given with Annie, so why don't believe that could happen again but to the future, and secondly it is because the true head of the Lockhart's is supposed to be a woman, but in all previous generations only males have been born, Eliza has been the only woman born since Annie.

If the chronicles of Annie are confusing because they are incomplete, as it is known that there has not been a female baby born, it is because of the Family's book of life, is a list of each family members of the family. There is recorded, the best achievements of each generation

***A/N: The first mention of this book is in chapter 27: Kicking out the Old Hag.***

The record dates from her as the first ancestor, not her father, but Annie, as the Lockhart Matriarch.

From then on, every record in it has been male.

So, we can say that the love between them was predestined by history. Both families have a bond from the soul.

"Well, we can go back once more to our current issue, I don't want to admit it but... you may be right, but if that's how the chronicles say it, Annie fought against the man who held her mother captive, but the reason for her captivity was the reproduction of a baby, right?" the Old Master began to babble impatiently.

Seeing the impatience in his grandfather-in-law, Vincent continued with the parts of the chronicles that he knew "Yes, she died giving birth to the baby, and apparently, at the moment it was born, a phenomenon appeared in the sky, and the baby absorbed what little energy she had left."

Although it was a serious discussion, Eliza couldn't help but be curious about the term used "Phenomenon in the sky?"

"Yes, the records say the phenomenon was that the sky was opaque with clouds, and thunderstorm, thunder and lightning, from there no more is known..."

"..."

"There is a small note in which mentions something about a witness... The witness heard the cry of a baby, went to see what was happening in the middle of a thunderstorm, when he approached the hut in which were a man holding a baby that apparently was a newborn, in front of what could be said the body of a woman, whom the witness deduced was the mother of the newborn baby."

After a short pause he continued "But upon seeing the man with his cold silver-eyed stare and the baby who despite being crying his eyes were wide open, the baby had the same color eyes as the man, silver."

"The witness was frightened, because according to his village people with that kind of eye color were called the damned, and he ran away for fear that he would be found out..."

After some analysis Eliza spoke "The silver eyed man died at the hands of Annie, but his son survived, and when his father was killed he was 20 years old."

Accepting her reasoning the Old Master added "It could be that today there are some descendants of them..."

When he said that, Eliza turned pale, she was about to collapse in her chair, when Vince noticed her that way, he got up from his seat and lifted her from her seat, and then he sat down and put her on his lap, to hug her and comfort her.

The Old Master, angry, was about to reprimand him for such an action in front of him, an Elder, but his anger vanished when he saw the expression of his granddaughter "What's wrong?" with concern and confusion asked the grandfather.

"The person who took it upon himself to give her a week of torture was a silver-eyed man..."

"WHAT!!!?" shouted the Old Master in rage.

That's right, the person who dedicated himself to torturing Eliza for a week, to let her take her last breath on the asphalt of a street in that city, was a man with silver eyes, the same man who made her have silver lines in her eyes.
