Over the next few weeks, Ari proved his worth. His ability to write summaries back in the real world helped him do complicated guild work. He also made friends with a lot of guild officials that often went to get dinner with him.
Of course, not everything was peaceful. The demon king Asar, had invaded the bottom part of Lucrastion. (I don't know if I mention this, but the demon king territory was beneath Kraw. And was to the bottom right of Lucastion.)
So the kingdom was sending in troops to join in the battle. Notices for adventures to participate came too. So it was a busy day for guild officials.
There was a rumor going around Greenfield and cities surrounding it, there was a masked monster working at the guild. If it was like a normal monster, it would be just a bit weird. But Ari's mask never came off, even when he was sleeping.
Many of his co-workers asked what was under there, but Ari just acted like he was a spooky powerful man so his co-workers would just laugh and walk off. There were many rude adventurers that tried to sneakily grab his mask off.
Ari's agility helped, but it was mainly on how to adventurer was behaving. Anyways, one day Ari was helping the janitor sweep the floor. As he was sweeping, he felt himself be lifted up by the arm.
Surprised he looked up, there he saw a man that had a huge body. His brown hair was short and he had a large sword. His armor was rattled with bruises and scratches.
"Woah! Sorry about that! I didn't know you were so light!" The man put Ari down.
"Uh..?" Ari tilted his head.
"Ah, i'm Sharc. I came here with my party on a quest." He smiled and scratched his head.
"I see, well then Sharc. Do you have anything you need help with?" Ari asked.
"Well not really. I just wanted to check out the rumored masked official, and when I saw you I got too excited..." Sharc guiltily said.
"Ah well that's ok. You just need to be more careful in the future." Ari bowed a bit and said goodbye. Then he went behind the desk to continue his work.
"Yo...you gotta train dude." Said Arask, his co-worker.
"Why?"
"Did you not feel how easily he lifted you?"
"Well yea he did left me easily...."
"Men like us have to be strong to protect the woman!" Arask struck a hero pose. Arask was just kidding of course, his wife was stronger then him even if he wore magic items. He basically is implying that Ari should get stronger.
"Ehh....I kinda like...don't want to..." Ari slouched.
"Well you can always just use a small dagger and kill some horned rabbits by the forest..."
"Hmm... that's a good idea. After all I need to protect myself..." Ari said. But Ari really needed to level up. His level was still 1 after all this time, he could manage because of his agility but that couldn't last forever.
So after work, he brought a light sword and dagger from the blacksmith. The blacksmith's name was Emrile, and he was a half dwarf that was good at making weapons.
When Ari got to the woods, he equipped his sword and started looking for rabbits. When he saw one, he was a bit nervous. Back when he was a she, she was a huge animal lover. She was so hardcore, she would save the animal instead of the human if both of them were in danger. She realized her problem and fixed it, but she still liked animals.
But this is a game right?...No that voice said this was a real world....ugh!
Ari was still thinking, when the rabbit saw him and charged. Ari was surprised, and he just swung the sword. With great luck, he lopped off the rabbit's head in one go. When he saw the rabbit shatter, it dropped fur and a magic stone.
A magic stone was a stone dropped by a strong (ish?) magical beast. If used correctly, it can use the beast's abilities. If carved into a sword, depending on the ability it would turn pretty strong. The rabbit's stone was made for agility, so Ari thought about it and kept it to make something for himself.
He was still a bit freaked out that he killed something, but he just closed his eyes and looked away. He managed to kill 2 more, when something popped up.
"You have leveled up!"
"Huh?....What....is this?" Ari was a tad bit confused. He knew it was the system, but does it work like a game? Like if he said stats would something popped up? But you needed the guild orb to look at someone's stats....privilege of an otherworlder?
"...Stats...." Ari said.
Nothing popped up. Ari was about to curl in embarrassment, when something popped up.

In case you didn't read the summary, I said that this is gender bender right? So since MC was a girl....she liked boys. But now that MC was a boy...he still like boys... Ugh, i'll just say it. This MIGHT become a mild boys love.So if your uncomfortable with that, just leave and imagine Ari became a god or something.
