Crossing the mountain range

The mountain range was so big and hard to cross that Alfin almost gave up hope many times of crossing it, every path here was filled with dangerous monsters. Previously he was not staying at a single place and was constantly on move but the deeper he got in the range the stronger the monsters were getting, his strength was not able to keep up with it. So, he started staying at a single place for a little longer and started hunting monsters like a mad man, he even started overeating to get stronger which made his body almost explode from the excess energy. To release this energy he started exercising and practicing martial arts which eventually made him more stronger at a faster pace.

Alfin had made a sword from the claw of giant tiger monster by filing it and giving it a shape of a short sword, which was basically used for his practice basic sword moves, he did not use it for fighting. For fighting he used bow and spear, he also practiced spear on daily basis, it helped him a lot while fighting monsters, it was easy to counter them now with only the basic movements of spear. One day when Alfin was practicing his spear he noticed when he used the stabbing move it was creating air pressure to go a little forward then the spear's reach. To test his theory he stood in front of a tree, a little far from his spear's reach and stabbed with his full force.

The air pressure from his spear made a small mark on the tree bark, his eyes were full of shining stars. If one day he reached to the point where he can destroy the tree with just the air pressure it would seem like magic. It would also help him fighting with monsters, now he got one more thing to motivate himself to get stronger. He started practicing like a fanatic and it was also a bad news for monsters now because he increased the number of monsters he hunted. Now his days were more exciting, only for himself though. Now when he wakes up in the morning, the first thing he does is go for hunting and after eating the monster he hunted he would practice martial arts, and when the energy from the monster meat is depleted he would go for hunting again, this would happen till the night comes and he will go to sleep and just to wake up again next day to do the same thing.

It has been twenty years from when he started to cross the mountain range and now he has finally crossed the range of mountains. This world is strange was the only thing that was on his mind right now because he has not aged, he was 26 years old when he came to this world and if now anybody sees he they will say that he was no over 25 years. It is almost like he has become a little younger instead of aging in these twenty years and he has become way too strong and he could not be judged from the standard of earth, he could be called superman who could not fly.

According to the discoveries Alfin made the earth has been destroyed but the portals has not been stopped opening, the color of the portal has changed and now it has opened the passage to different world this was what Alfin has discovered. He had killed a monster who had just returned from the new color portal and checked its stomach the things he found told him that another world was going to be destroyed.

He thought he could help this world a little by reducing the number of monsters pass through portals, but that world was also eventually destroyed but it took a little more time to be destroyed than earth. The portal changed color again and it was again a different world. The portal changed color almost four times in these twenty years and Alfin did almost everything he could do to slow the destruction of other worlds. This world was destroyer of worlds he thought which was almost correct. To him this world was opening portal itself to destroy other worlds in the universe and also to decrease the amount of monsters in this world to keep the balance.

Alfin was grinding himself for these twenty years and now he has become too strong now he can create air pressure to destroy a boulder with a casual flick of his fingers and the air pressure created from his weapons was so destructive that he can wipe out a whole area under five hundred meters. This was all due to his hard work and monsters he ate, and now he has finally crossed the mountain range he was finally satisfied. Now in front of him was a dense jungle with closely packed trees and it looked like giant monsters could not live there it looked a little scary from the place he was because the jungle was too silent there was no sound of monsters coming from that jungle and that was strange in this world which was full of monsters.
