Shanna

The girl was too innocent she even told Alfin everything about herself, her name was Shanna and she was a princess of a third grade kingdom called Altamont and she was the only daughter of the current king.

" Where are you from and how can you come through the summoning ritual specially made to summon beasts." Shanna asked after telling Alfin all about herself.

" I am from the world called earth and I came through the summoning ritual you did because you opened a portal to the wrong world through the ritual." Alfin answered, he did not tell her that she opened a portal to the world which was like a hell.

" Oh, so this was my mistake, I am really sorry for summoning you from your world. But I could not send you back as I do not know how to do that." Shanna said with a sorry expression.

Alfin was feeling guilty as the girl was too kind and he could not tell her that she has saved him from the hell like world, as it would be hard to explain her that and he could not tell her about the "First world".

" You must be hungry, lets go outside and eat something." said Shanna.

Alfin was really hungry as he was about to go and hunt monsters to eat, so he followed her and saw the look on the faces of maids, he knew what they were thinking, how could a man come out of princess's room. And also he looked like a person who had not taken bath from many days, which was actually true and also his clothes were made out of monsters fur so he looked different from the people here.

Shanna took him to the big dining room where she told the servants to bring food for two people. Nobody questioned her about about Alfin, they did not have the guts to ask princess who he was as they were just servants. After some time food was served and Alfin almost teared up after eating one bite because he had not eaten properly cooked food for such a long time.

Alfin ate so much that the cook was tired after cooking for him, he had eaten food that was enough to fill the stomachs of twenty five people and he could still eat more. Shanna was stunned, this was the first time she had seen someone eat so much.

Suddenly the door of the dining room was opened and a young man came in who looked around seventeen years old, he had a smile on his face when he saw the princess but his expression was changed when he saw Alfin sitting next to the princess.

"Princess you should not bring a homeless person who does not have any manners to the palace as it could start bad rumors about you." Said the young man in disdain towards Alfin.

"Clifford he is not a homeless person and who are you to question me, I can bring whoever I want to the palace." Shanna said in an angry tone.

This was the first time Alfin had seen Shanna angry and who was this guy who could talk to the princess in such a manner. He seemed like a noble from a wealthy household who has not seen the world, Alfin was not a person to be messed with even he had his powers sealed.

"Princess don't be angry I am just stating the facts, look how ill-mannered this young man is and he is not even grateful towards you for giving him food." Said Clifford with eyes full of hostility towards Alfin.

"Princess I heard you were going to perform summoning ritual, so I came here to congratulate you. I know princess you are very talented and would be able to summon a powerful beast and I would love to see your summoned beast." Clifford spoke non stop and did not give anyone a chance to speak.

This irritated Shanna so much that she was about to burst from anger but she calmed herself down. Alfin was just sitting there and eating without paying attention, this angered Clifford even more. And Alfin just realized that he looked around seventeen years old when Clifford called him young man, even though he was thousands of years old, the reason for this was the honey he ate which was from monster bees.

"His name is Alfin and he is the one I summoned by mistake because of doing something wrong during the ritual." Shanna said still feeling guilty for summoning Alfin from his world.

She did not knew that her strength was not strong enough to summon Alfin from the "First world". She just opened a portal to the first world without even realizing what she has done wrong during the ritual. And it was Alfin who came forcefully through that portal, if not for her mistake he would still be stuck in the first world.

"This is the first time I heard someone summoning a person as expected of princess you are talented enough to summon a person from different world but why is the person summoned as a beast by princess so weak. He is not good enough to be princess beast, I should kill him for princess and princess could summon other beast." Clifford said with an evil smile on his face.

Even Alfin got angry this time, this guy was thinking of killing him just because he was close to the princess just now, he has ulterior motive toward the princess and he is putting him between to gain favorable impression on princess. But Clifford didn't know that this was going to backfire on him hard.
