Fighting Clifford

Clifford was quite arrogant and was looking down on Alfin, it looked like he was looking for a fight and Alfin was not going to shy away from any fight. He had lived thousands of years fighting monsters and now a pipsqueak like Clifford was trying to fight him., he was asking for death.

"You can't kill him, he is the person I summoned and I would not like if someone would hurt him. And who are you to decide things for me." Shanna said angrily.

"Princess don't be angry I was just stating the facts, he is so weak how can he follow you around and it will also damage your image. How about we fight and if he loses you should just abandon him he would be of no use." Said Clifford.

"Yeah sure we could just go to a different location and have a fight right now." Alfin replied before Shanna could say anything.

"Alfin you should not fight him he was trained by the best teachers in the capital since he was nine years old and he has never lost a fight before." Said Shanna worriedly.

"It doesn't matter, this fight would decide everything." Alfin said like it was just a casual thing to fight someone on their first meeting.

"Yeah it doesn't matter princess, we should go to the training arena and have a fight and don't worry I won't kill him." Said Clifford with confidence.

And after saying that they all walked towards the fighting arena, the insides of the palace was like a maze to Alfin, they turned so many times that Alfin lost the count and after some time he just followed them without paying attention to where they were going.

They reached the training arena after 10 minutes of walk. The arena was filled with soldiers doing their routine and when they saw them coming to the arena they started whispering among themselves. Alfin had very keen hearing so he could hear what they were talking, he got to know that Clifford was the son of the wealthiest noble in the kingdom and it should be the reason why he was so arrogant.

"Alfin are you sure you could fight him, he is a third rank knight and also has vast experience in fighting." Shanna asked.

"What is a third rank knight." Alfin asked ignoring the other half of her sentence.

"Are you going to just stand there and talk to princess, come here and fight me I will end it fast because I don't have time for someone like you." Said Clifford with envy filled in his eyes, he was jealous because princess Shanna was talking to Alfin very nicely and she has not talked to him in that way ever.

Then Clifford went to an empty stage and stood there like an expert, the soldiers were confused seeing Alfin , who was he and why was he going to fight Clifford, does he want to die, these were their thoughts at that time. Alfin slowly walked towards the stage, not minding the stares of the soldiers present there.

Clifford pointed at the soldier and said, "You give him your sword I don' want to bully someone who doesn't even have a sword."

"No need of a weapon, I fight bare handed." Alfin said he also wanted to add 'when fighting a pipsqueak' but he didn't wanted to waste time in trash talk.

Now both were on the fighting stage, Clifford took his sword out and took his fighting stance and Alfin just stood in his place like a statue and the fight started. Clifford put his aura force on the sword and started running towards Alfin while shouting.

Alfin still didn't move even when Clifford came almost in front of him, and everyone was watching him and thinking that he was going to die because of his stupidity because Clifford was taking this fight very seriously and he was emitting killing intent towards Alfin.

In just the next moment they saw Clifford flying out of the stage, the soldiers went near Clifford to check on his condition. He was alive but knocked out and there was a footprint on his face and his nose has become flat and was bleeding very badly, the soldiers carried him and took him to the healer.

The soldiers were stunned because they have not seen Alfin move but now there was a footprint on Clifford's face which means he was kicked on the face. Which only means that the guy on the stage who was looking like a poor homeless person wearing some animal fur clothes was way more stronger than Clifford and them.

"Wow you are very strong, even without using mana you were able to defeat Clifford in an instant." Shanna said with stars glowing in her eyes.

Now the soldiers realized another thing that this guy did not even use mana and just used his physical strength. This guy who looked like seventeen years old was able to defeat Clifford a rank three knight who was trained by best teachers in the kingdom, and they were also just rank three and four knights but the difference in age made him look like a monster.

"What is this rank and mana you were talking about can you explain this to me." Alfin asked Shanna.

Now everyone was looking at him like they were looking at an idiot. Even Shanna was surprised because these were the basic knowledge that everyone knew.
